I have a table with 3 columns. The first column has a fixed number (there is no field there, only col 2 and 3 have fields), 2nd field is Quantity1, 3rd is Total Fees. In simplified field notation of the Total Fees field I put the dollar value from column 1 * the Quantity1 field. so, 15,980 * Quantity1 the the fixed number is 15,980, the Quantity field I typed in 10. The total gave me 15, not 159,800.

In my word doc, I have font set to Arial 10. When I convert to PDF, the font size changes to 10.40. If I add text, it only has size 10 in acrobat. How can I change the font size to 10.4 when I add new text?

Ok, I am confused, is LC different than Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions? I have to use acrobat and cant pay for anything else. So delete and spawning wiill not work in older versions with out Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions?

This is an 8 page pdf, 4 pages of instructions, 4 pages of form. There is a Part C, where the user may need to complete more than 1 Part C. So to remove the instructions is why I delete. I also need to allow to spawn additional part c's. I am not part of this process, others will receive the completed forms, so I have no input there, just making the pdf.

In Acrobat XI, I want a button to delete 4 pages. Scenario, an 8 page PDF, first 4 pages are instructions. Once the form is complete, the user can click the button and the pages 1 to 4 will delete. Leaving you only the 4 remaining form pages. I did have something before,...still looking.

Sometimes when creating check boxes, the border does not display consistently. Then you can push it a little and the border changes. I had heard it was a know issue with Adobe. Does anyone have any info on that, like an adobe web page that mentions it. I saw it once and now I cant find it??

not using JS. In the actions, I am setting showhide. so one radio unhides 1 set. then when clicking the other radio, it should rehide the first set and hide the second. The first one does not get hidden, even tho it is in the action to hide.

First time trying this, appears to work in Acrobat XI. Silly question of the day. I browsed to a word doc and attached it, should I not see an indicator in the pdf of an attached file? When I saved the PDF, it did not copy the attached file with it? Thanks

I have 5 radio buttons. and 4 fields. the fields are hidden. The first 2 radio buttons hide/unhide 2 text fields and the other 3 radio, hide/unhide the others. So I click the first button, unhide works, but when i clisk the 2nd set, it unhides but the first stays visible. Same with a checkbox, check the box, field unhides, uncheck the box, field is still visible.

I have a script that takes an email from a field and uses it for the mailto. It also adds to the subject line. I want the email from a field to now be the CC and the mailto to be in the actual js code, as well as a subjust line which adds a field as well var cSubline=this.getField("Cost Centre").value + " Please Prepare Translations for " + this.getField("Month").value + this.getField("Date").value + " At " + this.getField("Time").value; this.mailDoc ({ cTo:this.getField("Province1").value, cSubject: cSubline }) So click the button, the email address is filled out, the CC is from a field, the subject line is a field PLUS some text. Ideas?

I have field 1, user types in a number of days. I want the number of days divided by 1300 and for the answer to appear in another field. So field one shows 166 the field beside it would have the 1300 / 166. Field 1 number is the number of words to be translated. Field 2 is converting that number of words to number of days it would take if 1300 words a day could be translated. Example; Field 1 says 650 field 2 would say .5 (because it would take .5 of a day to translate 650 words.

Added to original Question. I had a Jscript in a button to submit to an email. It checked for required fields. I had to put an (*) asterisk in the tooltip field properties of the field. Then it worked. Is anyone familiar with that script?

This may be an odd question; I have a pdf in a template, lets say the header is a banner of waterfalls, the footer has page numbers and a company name. I have a new template with a forest banner in the header, and the footer has page numbers and the document title. But I have hundreds of PDFS, I want the content of the pdfs with the waterfalls imported into the template with the forrest. Open each pdf alone and switch the footer text and banner? Open each pdf 1 by 1 and copy the content? Or is there a more automated way?

I use PAC all the time, have not seen that error. Can I see the PDF? This is related to a Form TAG, do you maybe have 2 tags nested?
