This looks like Bayer Moire, which you can test by creating an Enhanced Details DNG and examining it at 1:1 Zoom view. There's no need to change your display profile to sRGB if disabling the graphics processor fixed the issue. As @dj_paige mentioned this is usually due to a graphics driver issue. There was a similar issue reported at the below post. Using an external memory card reader resolved the issue. Suspected that the iMac built-in memory card reader is defective or an OSX update corrupted the device firmware. In your screenshot Biblioteca y Revelar the words previsualizacion incrustada apppear. English translation is 'embedded preview.' This means you imported the image files with the Import module File Handling> Build Previews set to Embedded & Sidecar. This causes the imported image files to display the in-camera settings, which will look quite different than the LrC Develop module rendering. Change that setting to 'Standard' to use LrC's rendering in both the Library & Develop modules. The below link would seem to indicate yout iMac Late 2014 model is compatible with UHS-I SD cards, but not UHS-II SD cards. Copy all of the files on the SD card to your HDD or SSD. Then  insert the card back into the Canon R5 and reformat the SD card with the 'Low level format' option checked. Shoot some new pictures and try importing again using LrC Import module. ... View more

To copy directly from the camera you will need to use Canon EOS Utility to first transfer the files to your computer, and then you can import them in to Lightroom. 2. The other problem is that due to the way that most CFExpress cards are mounted, Lightroom does not work like it does for SD cards. CFExpress readers end up getting mounted as an SSD, and in Lightroom when you click on the root of the drive it shows nothing. If you expand it, and click on DCIM, it will also show nothing. "I updated that copy frequently. When the first external hard drive did fail however I didn't do something right because Lightroom could not read the back-up external hard drive."   How are you making these "updated copies" and using what application? Also make sure you do not move, rename, delete, or add files and folders from outside of LrC using Finder or Windows File explorer. Only perfrom these operatiosn from inside LrC using the Library module Folders panel. Performing those operations from outside LrC will cause the files and folder to show as missing. Glad to hear that resolved it. When installing updates that add new features the Preferences file is updated to accomodate them. This can sometimes cause the it to become corrupted (i.e. wierd behavior). The same can happen when doing a complete uninstall and reinstall since the original Preferences file is retained. ...
