How hard would it have been to leave Mix in place until these functions were available? Half a year later and still no sign of this missing functionality being restored. 😞

Until today I used Microsoft OneDrive on my Windows PC. All my pictures were stored in a library within that and Lightroom pointed at the folders within that. It all worked well for me but I wanted to remove my reliance on OneDrive so I; - stopped syncing, - broke the connection between my PC and OneDrive - removed the OneDrive app - and then, within Lightroom, moved all my picture folders to a new drive. Lightroom is working as I expect, except for one minor irritation that I cannot fathom. Each time I restart Lightroom a new (empty) folder is created - D:\OneDrive\Documents\Adobe\dynamiclinkmediaserver\23.5 I delete it but it reappears when I restart Lightroom. Why?

Thanks @Steve Grisetti I am using GPU and have unticked HW Acceleration. If CPU is a dinosaur then GPU will be too, albeit both are within spec for PE.

I've been using Premiere Elements successfully for some time. My edits are usually fairly straightforward and simple. I usually end up with a 5 minute or less clip to export at the end. In 4K 3840x2160 60fps that will usually take around 30 minutes or so to export. Yesterday I started experimenting with more advanced (for me) adjustments adding an adjustment layer and several effects (x4) to that. Then I went to export it. 16 hours later it finished! The clip looks great but I can't afford to wait all that time if that's expected. Is that normal? Or do I need to look deeper? I'm using PE2022 with a Windows 10 Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz and 32GB RAM and SSDs

As stated above I'm also on Windows 10 and I have re-imported the HEIC pictures. What's the source of yours? Mine are Samsung Galaxy / Android.

Whilst it's great to read all these "it's resolved " reports it's not for me and I'm not sure what else I can try. Reinstall?

So I tried removing and re-importing the 8 pics again. These are the two photographs I used in the previous example - as shown in Windows Explorer. This is them in the LrC Import dialogue. All fine so far. This is them after import but before the standard preview is built. Still fine. At the point the Standard Preview is built the colour changes. However, this time *two* of the eight pics did not! But the other five did (one example shown). This is when I wish I'd chosen other pics to demonstrate this! 🤣 So it's not consistent. Any other suggestions to try?

Just the same I'm afraid @Victoria Bampton LR Queen I tried removing from some existing HEIC pics LrC and re-importing and strangely, of the 8 HEIC pics, one didn't get washed out - see below! I can't see why it should be any different. Weird.

I'm still experiencing issues importing .heic pictures from my Samsung Galaxy. In the import dialogue, the thumbnails all look fine but then at the point when the standard previews are built they all become 'washed out'. I'm on LrC 11.4.1 on Windows 10. I thought this issue had been fixed?? M

Is it correct to say that this is a recently introduced bug? I'm sure I have successfully Imported and Developed HEIC photos from my Smasung Galaxy phone in LrC previously. It's only in the past couple of weeks or so that I've noticed the washed out, fluorescent colors appear when moving from Library to Develop modules. Is it possible to backout the version that caused this?
