Omg I hate the 'hover' over the Video/HideVideo or Lock slots. It's so confusing! I turn of the visibility of a layer, the eye was white, but because your mouse is still over the box it will show a greyed out eye.. Damn right! Let us as users choose what we want and think is necessary.  So many stupid things that don't work.   I found 2 big Mogrt Bug's myself. One is that a video that resides in precomps and it offset multiple times will not get replaced the right way in premiere; And the other that embedded video files end up as missing video files (colored bars) when clients open the files! One that's inside the basic AE/mogrt project. A simpel count from 1 to 5. When you open the AE you see I have the 'videosource' comp that holds the .mov. That 'videosource' comp is used in the Maincomp as a background. And it is used few times in the Precomp! In the precomp the 'pink' layers are offset and freezed on end. The blue layers are freeze frames of the different number.   So I made the same .mov but it counts from 6 to 10, which you can use to replace! If you would replace the 12345.mov in AE with the 678910.mov comp it would work just fine. But with a single mogrt replacement it does NOT work in PP.  For the record I dropped in the '12345.mov' from videosource comp as the mediareplacement.  ... View more

The videosource layer contains a .mov Prores. (Sorry I typed mp4 above but the comp contains a .mov prores) Is it better to just add a still for the duration that will get replaced with a .mov or .mp4?   I fixed it for now by adding 4x the source itselfs from the 4 different comps, so they just replace 4 items in PP. Strange, I have a 'videosource' precomp that has one .mp4 that the client needs to replace. That 'videosource' precomp is used 6x in other comp.  When I drag the .mp4 (in the videosource comp) go the EG panen and I try to replace that .mp4 , it does NOT replace it all in my final render.   Maybe because sometimes a precomp is offset in time?? It seems to start the .mp4 from frame 0  overall.  The layers that are shifted done get shifted at all, they all play the .mp4 from frame 0. ... View more

What are you testing? Just use any c4D Cryptomatte to select objects or materials. Use it 3x in a comp as a matte and you will see the max preview rate you get is 1 frame/sec.. if you are in 4k it's much worse. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to preview 5seconds of comping. It is insane and unusable! We all have this problem.  If you prerender the mattes to prores it flies! but that is NOT the way we should work. Prerendering or making proxies takes time. ... View more

Reinstalled 24.1 (and forced to uninstall 24.2.1!!) just to open the project, delete all Cineware and save again.     Luckly I have 2 computers so I tested out the project on 24.2.1 and it opened again.
