This workaround, if I did it right, didn't seem to work for me on Windows. Putting the .jsx into the Bridge Extensions folder lead to a "can't load script because it's not compatible" dialog. What really sucks is that I JUST installed the new Photoshop 2025 and Bridge 2025 (v15), and I still can't get Image Processor Pro to work from within Bridge. I did choose to "transfer settings" when I installed each of those apps. This is just dumb. It shouldn't be this hard to get it to work...and I can't for the life of me understand why Adobe won't actually build IPP into Photoshop by default. It's so much better than the old, simple IP.

Is there a way to goose this without fully uninstalling Photoshop? I feel like there is/should be, but I can't find it. On Windows if it affects the answer. Something about temporarily installing Photoshop public Beta has goofed up the connection between Bridge and Photoshop 2024, only in that Image Processor Pro doesn't show in the Tools > Photoshop menu in Bridge. IPP runs fine from WITHIN Photoshop, I just can't trigger it from Bridge. I have several plugins, etc. where uninstalling Photoshop is a bit drastic and daunting.

Generative Fill needs to be added as a "Contents" option in the Fill dialog (along with Content-Aware, Fill Color, Background Color, etc.)

After spending probably an hour or so in a chat with customer support where he even took control of my computer and checked a few things, we pretty much chalked it up to a bug between the new Photoshop release and Windows 11, and he was escalating it up to senior management. I have basically just learned to try to leave Photoshop running as long as I possibly can once I get it started (which might take a few tries). Patiently awaiting a Photoshop dot release to see if it helps clear things up.

Even after a fresh restart, Photoshop 23.0 won't always start. Sometimes it does, most times it doesn't.

Multiple times. If you have access, i have uploaded an Adobe Log Collector file through the Adobe Log Collector mechanism. AdobeLogs_20211027_081447_966-win.zip It does seem, at least in part, to be struggling with Preset Syncing.

Since updating to Photoshop 23.0, I'm only maybe 20% successful in launching Photoshop (on Windows 11). It more often than not gets to a "Not Responding" state after splash screen, but before becoming fully usable. Sometimes there will even be multiple processes listed in Activity Monitor I have... Uninstalled/reinstalled Photoshop 23.0 (keeping preferences) alt-ctrl-shift at launch Move/delete Preferences file and/or the entire Settings folder. When I could get in, I've tried turning a few technology previews and/or GPU Processing on/off. Re-installed previous version of Photoshop (22.latest), which also inherited this problem. Some of those things, like removing prefs or alt-ctrl-shift-launch, might let it launch once, but not reliably. I'm just at a loss as to what else to try to reliably launch Photoshop 23.0 on my Windows 11 computer.

The Image Processor function no longer works (Image Processor Pro, as well); I believe this problem occurred with the 22.5.1 udpate, but I can't state that for absolute fact. Windows 10. From Bridge, if I select images and choose Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor Pro, it will switch to Photoshop but never invoke IPP. If I invoke Image Processor Pro from within Photoshop (from File > Automate), telling it to process files selected in Bridge, it will create the expected sub-folder for the results, but only act like it is processing the first file, but no export results are actually generated. If I open my files that I want to process, but choose "Use open files", it will only process the first file, not all of them. Photoshop's default Image Processor behaves much the same way. From Bridge, Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor will jump over to Photoshop but not kick off Image Processor. If I open my files and run File > Scripts > Image Processor on Open Files, the sub-folder gets created and then I get "Sorry, I could not process the following files." File > Automate > Batch seems to mostly work from within Photoshop (but again, won't trigger from Bridge), although the actions that I'm applying at the time of batch processing need to be adjusted to give me the results I need. But it doesn't error and does produce results. This is a critical hit to my photography workflow, and as near as I can tell it is related to the latest updates. Is there a manual fix I can try (short of re-installing Photoshop), or am I stuck waiting for another update that might fix these mechanisms?
