I have experienced this issue twice now in the last few weeks, loosing roughly 20 hours of hard work. It's interesting to see that Adobe has known about this issue for years and doesn't seem to care at all.

Oh yes it does happen on external drives just happened to me can't find my files anywhere not even just the one I was saving but all of them in a folder not in the recycle bin I did not delete have no idea

The issue is fixed. Unfortunately, now I cannot delete or add a point along a path I'm creating when using the main "Pen Tool". The pen tool creates another point directly over the path rather than adding a point. To add a point I have to select the "Add Anchor Point Tool."

I have the same problem. I also get the error when I try to use the keyboard shortcuts. Very frustrating. Guess I will be going back to the older version too.

In photoshop CC I used to able to right click the width and height in the toolbar and change the unit from % to whatever unit type I wanted and it would show the sizing info in that unit. Right clicking no longer allows me to change the unit type (it does nothing) so if I want to see the current size quickly I have to use one of the other pallets... why was this ability removed? or is just Broken?
