I have been going in circles. But as of this moment, the best solution that I have found - maybe new? Maybe not? - is to use 'Remux' in OBS under the file menu. I'm not sure if it is an OBS MKV format only thing or if you could use any MKV? My issue has been importing MKV from OBS to Premiere. This is the quickest method I've found so far. I tried the renaming method found on YouTube etc. (change extension .mkv to .avi) but maybe it's an OBS MKV only issue it didn't work. I've been struggling with using my Canon 600D (T3i). Recording more than 12 minutes at full res or beyond a 4GB file limit is impossible (firmware/canon BS)! I installed Magic Lantern. ML works great. It can record unlimited length in MLV RAW. However, the resolution is sacrificed to compensate for the camera's slow systems (Sensor to processor to SD card bottleneck) and, of course, Premiere doesn't like MLV files. A one and a half-hour recording were 30 files totaling 118GB. BUT! I am now using OBS to record from the camera over USB. Canon has a 'Webcam' driver for most cameras and thus OBS can record at full res, 24fps into mkv. I remux it and BAM! I sincerely hope this helps at least one person.

The lack of support of MKV is a real let down considering I've paid thousands of dollars to use this software. I'd like to see support for MKV files. You don't realize the time spent that costs companies because it isn't available. Think..

Throwing it out there as someone who uses remote desktop to manage my library, the animations for fading in and out of menus etc. are slowing down the workflow. A switch to disable these effects would be great.

This definitely worked for me. Photoshop 20.0.4 Wacom Intuos 4 1) create text file in notepad (or similar text editor) 2) type the following: "UseSystemStylus 0" 3) save it as a ".txt" file (plain text file) named "PSUserConfig.txt" into the folder: "C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Settings" (either copy this link into the explorer and insert your username or go to the path manually, which will require you to enable to show "Hidden Items" in the explorer ("View" tab) to see the folder AppData.

I remembered I enabled my onboard Radeon ES1000. Disabling it in Windows worked. Photoshop crashed on every start and just now it didn't. Hover Me - Photoshop Sys Info
