This is a FAQ. It is not a bug, but as designed. It is to avoid confusion when the filter would filter out the new DNG, for example because you filter on raw files. You might think that the merge didn't work at all. @janekp44056533 if you will not post the printer driver dialog boxes to show settings, we can't see what you're doing and we can't help you.
