Hi, I've updated to the latest version (Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.2.0 20241207.r.140 bc85906 arm64) And I still have issues with these shortcuts. None of the solutions mentioned here work. (deleting or changing the layer boundary thing, etc...) Furthermore, changing shortcuts seems to be disfunctional overall. For example: deleting the shortcuts for next or previous brush doesn't work. It shows as deleted but in practice the shortcut is still active. (I work on mac with French Azerty keyboard by the way) Any help would be much appreciated

Although I did not ask you directly about accessing the legacy files, I want to thank you for putting the steps to find them in clearly. I read your explanation and accessed them straight away after having read a number of other explanations ending up getting nowhere! Thanks, Chris.

Hello. I am having the same error on MacOS 12.6.9 with LrC 12.5 and Ps 25.0.0. I did not receive this error with Ps 24.7.1. As for a workaround, in LrC I choose to open in Photoshop 2023 as a smart object. Save the file. Then in Photoshop 2024, File>Open, then choose the newly created file. If this is associated with my monitors, I am using two monitors: Dell U2722Q and a Dell U4021QW. I agree, this is an anomaly that has arisen with v25.0.0 and impacts my usual workflow, it should be identified and fixed. Thank you very much.

Mohit, If this is the one using Control E in LR and getting an error message In PS saying there's not enough room to open, I just started getting the error again. I tracked down another solution from someone in LR Community a couple years ago. All they did was reset their worspace default. I use Essentials so I just did a simple Workspace reset and no more message. I don't think it matters what Workspace you use, just reset it. If you get issue again try this too...David

The "Second Catalog" on your second computer can be reused, or continue to be used.
When it comes time to 'Merge' this Catalog with the Home system a second time- the [Import from another Catalog] process will identify files that have previously been merged. And you also have an option to preserve editing done in both catalogs by Lr creating Virtual Copies. ie. you will see a 'Home version edit' as a master and a 'remote version edit' as a Virtual copy.

What OS are you using Mac OS X or Windows.
Please explain in more detail what you are doing just before you try to Remove the drive.
Have you tried removing the drive for testing? IE Not opening LR and just Eject the drive.
If you are on Windows 10 there is no more sound for Ejecting a drive (at least none that I could find yesterday) and only a sound for Device Connect and Device Disconnect. So you never get a sound after you click the Safely Remove Hardware icon and select he drive to eject.

Some general advice also- I note your filenames include commas. Suggestion- do not use characters in filenames that Lightroom may consider "illegal"

Sometimes the edited image is hard to find if you started from a folder. I put images into a collection before I start working on them. If you send an image to Photoshop from a collection, the edited Ps file gets saved back into the collection and is easy to find.

Thanks, I understand now...I had moved Photoshop to the D drive by just moving the folder. The program worked fine, but when I was in LR CC, it couldn't find the Photoshop program to send an edit....I had to move PS back to C...Thanks for the advise...David On Saturday, October 20, 2018, 3:03:51 AM CDT, Axel Matt <forums_noreply@adobe.com> wrote: | Moving Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC from C drive to D drive Axel Matt marked WobertC's reply on Moving Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC from C drive to D drive as helpful. You can however store your Lightroom Catalog with its Preview cache folder, along with all your photo files on another connected internal or external drive. This is the way my system is working- Programs installed on C: an SSD, Lr Catalog & Image files on D: drive (internal large spin drive). David, My suspicion was that in LR you had set the preference to open the previous catalogue. You had then closed LR, leaving it thinking it should open the catalogue on H. But then H became I, so you then were prompted to open a backup or other copy and chose the wrong one. Generally LR works best with one catalogue, and one should have a good reason for complicating things! Glad it seems resolved. John

Can you remove the files from thier sync collection and add them back? Is there any information in Sync Activity? It's in the Lightroom Sync section of Preferences (in the Edit menu on PC)
