R Neil Haugen, thank you. I get annoyed with Adobe, but your generous help is always appreciated. 🙂

Unfortunately, two months later and it still won't stop. Very annoying that whenever I open a Premiere project the first thing I need to do is switch away from this broken dialog back to my Effects settings.

Another option would be a magnifying glass on a stand for hands-free viewing. Alternatively, a large Fresnel like the kind used for solar cookers might do the trick; just position it a few inches from the monitor.

A better solution may be to exchange your current monitor for a 65" OLED TV. That way, when you need to read Premiere's tiny UI font you can just step in closer.

If you're an optimist, Adobe will have this font size issue resolved within a year. If a realist, 3 years.

Okay, I figured out how to remove the Share as Link feature by taking a deep dive into Outlook: Open Outlook Go to File > Options > Add-ins See the attached screenshot. Microsoft Outlook for Windows Version 2412 Build 16.0.18324.20092 64-bit Microsoft Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100

When working with my Outlook emails I keep getting an intrusive Acrobat prompt that reads, "Share as a link. Anyone on the internet with this link can access." How do I make it stop? I followed these instructions, but it is still happening: To disable Adobe's "Share as a Link" feature in Microsoft Outlook, open Adobe Acrobat's preferences, navigate to "Email Accounts," and uncheck the option "Always send files as a link" Any suggestions? Thanks.

Whenever I open an existing Premiere project, it resets the workspace to the default--and prompts me to log into something called Frame.io, whatever that is. Most apps I work with save workspaces with projects, which is I want. Is there a way to have Premiere do this too? Thanks.

Lately when I open a Premiere project using v25.1, the Effect Controls window will be replaced by something called, "Frame.io" and it will ask me to log in. Unfortunately, whenever I attempt to log in with my Adobe account, it will either say, "Something went wrong" or I will get this error: Unsupported Account. Access to this account with the new Frame.io V4 Comments panel. What's with the ambiguous error? What is Frame.io anyway? And how do I make it stop? Thanks.

I suspect overhauling the font system would be a heavy lift for Adobe, requiring a rebuild of the UI from the ground up. I'm pretty sure that's why we haven't seen any improvement despite the plethora of other upgrades. Adobe Illustrator has decent font sizing options by comparison, while Photoshop barely has any.

>The (internal engineering tool) was never implemented/intended for users, its an internal developer tool.
I understand that, and I appreciate the thoughtful responses from you and @Kevin-Monahan. At the risk of belaboring the point, what I take issue with is the tone deaf, and ultimately disingenuous response from Adobe. It doesn't matter what the devs and management intended--I'm sure they're wonderful people with the best of intentions--how it's received by end users is all that matters. Adobe should know this.
Any savvy tech user, whether they're working with hardware or software, will take a deep dive in order to figure out how to make the tech meet their needs. Unless the Premiere (internal engineering tool) is password protected, users will exploit it, and as we've seen here, come to rely upon it. It's no different from off-label use of pharmaceuticals.

>I think Adobe underestimated the amount of users that used the (internal engineering tools) to change font size.
Indeed. I resent Adobe's response that the (internal engineering tool) was an "undocumented" solution and therefore not their responsibility to maintain. Subtext: Too bad for you users who thought you could cheat the software. Disingenuous at best.

If you'll look at the latest Premiere bug reports you'll see a variety of issues associated with the release of 25.0, including, inexplicably, the sudden inability to import native PSD files. Some of these issues are marked "Fixed" in 25.1, but no ETA on its release. More evidence 25.0 was released prematurely. Sadly, the sudden loss of Premiere's font size workaround is not considered a bug because it was never officially a feature in the first place.

@Bruce Bullis > As Jamie has pointed out, this is already fixed in PPro 25.1 beta builds. Thanks. My post was just moved here, so I'm just catching up. 🙂 Regarding ETA, is there a time when 25.1 will be released, i.e., calendar date? Thanks again.

With the release of Premiere Pro version 25 I can no longer import layered Photoshop PSD files, instead the import progress bar appears and does not move. Workaround: Cancel the import and convert the PSD file to another format, like PNG. I create titles for all of my video projects as layered Photoshop files and import them into the Premiere Pro project files. This has worked fine for years until now. Is this a known bug? If yes, is there an ETA on a fix? Thanks. Premiere Pro v25, Photoshop v26.0, Windows 11

@Kevin-Monahan "Help is on the way, it's just going to take some time" While that may be sincere, based upon past experience it has no basis in reality, unless of course it's referring to a geologic timescale. We all know that for now and for the years to come Adobe will be busy putting out fires caused by its headlong rush into the latest new features.

@cizkek_ "Please forgive me if my comments on the type size and ui related topics were rude, It's just that I wasn't aware that community experts were volunteers. Not being able to see the UI has put an additional layer of stress on my mind, and at the time I thought it was a good idea to get additional attention on the topic by doing that, I now believe it was unkind and was a mistake." I applaud the Adobe volunteers! They are not what's wrong with Adobe. Unfortunately, the tacit message from Adobe to its volunteers and to all the concerned users here is--nothing. @Kevin-Monahan "You're not new here, but maybe you weren't aware that the Adobe Premiere Pro developer team does not respond to every bug, feature request, or how-to question that enters these forums." Thank you for your reply. You are correct, I am not new here; I've been using Adobe products for over 30 years. Also, what is not new here are concerns regarding Adobe's continued reliance on an archaic, and now ageist, interface. As a board member of a large artists guild, I talk to a lot of younger artists and none of them use Adobe products. In fact, with all alternatives now available, it doesn't even appear to even occur to them to use Adobe. Adobe's user base is aging. I would humbly submit that Adobe's user interface problem is not simply a "bug" nor "feature request;" it threatens the longevity of Adobe itself. For the first time in my professional life I'm now seriously entertaining alternatives to Adobe products. Thank you for your time.

"Making comments about a variety of things can really weaken your main point, if the other comments are well ... not solid, perhaps." The title of the OP states the issue while everything else contributes to keeping the OP "alive." Adobe knows precisely what the issue is; they've just chosen not to address it.

I work with Windows 11 and it does have a built-in magnifying glass feature which I occasionally find helpful in some situations, but it's not at all practical when working with Premiere Pro. Windows 11 also allows you to change font scaling in the OS, which is a wonderful accomodation, but that has no effect on Premiere or any other Adobe product.

I'm sorry if the community volunteers are getting grief, but who else is there to reach out to? I presume Adobe is okay with enlisting volunteers as cannon fodder while the Adobe app coders comfortably busy themselves with who knows what? More dubious AI features? They in turn are being directed by their apparently clueless managers. It would be nice to chat with Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen; maybe he could help?

If Adobe hasn't noticed, its competitors have highly-customizable interfaces as an accomodation to all users, especially with the advent of 4k and higher monitors. Why Adobe is choosing to be a dinosaur is a mystery, and does not bode well for the longevity of the company. Before adding any more (dubious) AI capabilities and whatnot to your products, please address this glaring shortcoming. Thank you.

I'm creating a child's coloring book that will incorporate clipart from Adobe Stock from the category of "License for free." Are there any license restrictions? Of course, I will not share original vector files, but I just want to make sure there are no other restrictions. Thanks!

I just contacted Adobe support and they tell me that this has been the policy since May 1. I've been a CC subscriber for years and always assumed it's part of CC (access to stock is via the CC app). Now I'm told that stock is a different entity from CC. This is disappointing. I don't recall receiving a heads-up from Adobe regarding this; that's lousy PR. And only 3 images per day? Seriously?
