I also have an M4 Max and am currently editing a project (UHD 25fps) with r3d clips (4800x2700px). I am currently doing the sortout and keep clicking back and forth between the source monitor, timeline and programme monitor. whenever I drag a snippet from the source monitor to the timeline and then switch back to the source monitor, there is a 10 second delay when I press play again. I then started the project on an M1 Max and it worked fine. At first I thought it was my setup with the BM Ultrastudio 4k Mini, but even without it the project makes the same error.
