I have tried emedding the images, but the final approved file format needs to be in pdf format, embedding massively increases the size of the pdf. I have just checked the linked images file sizes, there were three images, two were not particularly big, 5Mb and 7Mb, the third was large 50Mb. I have downsampled the large image which has fixed the problem but I'm still disapointed in Photoshops inability to view the file. I would be ok waiting for the file to open, but to not be able to tab around the values feels like a software problem. I'm working on resonable powered and fairly new Apple M2.

PS 26.4.0 When I try to open an Illustrator file containg multiple artboards, with each artboard containing high resolution placed/linked images, Photoshop comes to an almost complete standstill, tabbing between the fields (width, height etc) takes minutes for each tab. I do not recall this ever being a problem on previous PS versions.

Illustrator v 29.2. When using the direct selection tool, if I hold down the option and shift key to select other objects I get pink lines popping up all over the screen showing the distance between neighbouring objects. I find them a distraction only and of little value, how do I swith them off?

I have tried restoring prefs but it still crashes. I'm unable to check/define any site folders or change any cache settings from within dw as I cannot get past the loading screen.

I have had this problem since Feb 2023 and have not been able to use Dreamweaver since. It crashes on start up loading caches, I have to force quit. I have tried everything to no avail. I'm still looking for a solution.

I'm having the same problem with Illustrator (yet to try Indesign and Photoshop), M2 mac mini, Illustrator 28. I wish I had not upgraded to Sonoma. Selecting application frame has not fixed the issue for me. I have had to revert to working on a single screen, on initial test this appears to be a bit more reliable. I hope Apple/Adobe get this fixed quick, this is currently not a useable system. Following this thread hoping for a fix very soon.

I am using Adobe Illustrator/creative suite on M2 Mac mini using a dual monitor set up, monitor 1 for the artboards, monitor 2 for the property panels. Since upgrading to Sonoma when I click on one of the property panel options (eg character select menu) it hides the app. It's impossible to get any work done. I would like to avoid reverting to Ventura if possible. Any else having the same problem, any know fixes?

Since update to v18.3 all of my keyboard shortcuts are greyed out. Mac mini M2. Manually selecting options (eg show/hide guides) is also behaving erratically and often not working. Anyone else having the same problem?

Decause 24.2 di dnot install/run I installed 24.1.1 and switched off auto updates in the CC app. Today when I launched Photoshop I got the error message 'elements are missing... re-install...' On checking my version CC had attempted to update to 24.2? I have uninstalled and re-installed 24.1.1 again so problem sorted but would be interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar issue. Why would CC updated when auto updated are switched off?

No nothing migrated, when I set up the new machine I avoided that at all cost to keep the new machine as clean as possible. When I installed Dreamweaver on the new Mac it did open, I imported (30'ish sites), exported from my previous version of Dreamweaver, it was the cache of those sites that were trying to update and I guess the route of the problem. I did run the Dreamweaver uninstaller but it did not seem to completely removed everything as I was able to find some Dreamweaver system files after running the uninstall. On reinstall it was still trying to update site cache, on a clean install there should not have been any sites to cache. Is there a way to truly unistall Dreamweaver?

Hi @Ben M I haven't tried this as the Mac I am using is new and has had minimum software installed. I don't want to start adding unecessary user accounts for what I suspect it's more likely an M2 compatibility issue. For now I will use an old mac running Monterey which Dreamweaver is running fine on, a bit inconvenient but it'll get the job done.
