Hi, can somebody help me out. I'm looking to end my subscription to Adobe Stock but if I cancel now I'm going to be charged a penalty of £40. I assume this is because I'm on an annual subscription that's paid monthly and but I'm not at the end of the year. But, and this is where my problem is, I can't find any info on when the new year starts again so I can time my cancellation. Does anyone know where I can find this info? Thanks in advance

If you jump down a few comments find the reply by Jess38719908n00q - 3 down Their solution of checking the Artboard properties was the only thing that resolved the issue for me - no long winded exporting out and reimporting. I don't know how it changed from one day to the next, but I obviously hit a key combine that makes the artboard white, rather than transparent. Their screen grab shows you where the option

This is the third day in a row I'm running into issues on the Stock Website. If I go to my libraries there is an issue and nothing will load. I can see my libraries and all assets in the apps, but just not online. Anyone else getting this issue?

Same here - one of the solutions I tried was newer versions of AE but that still gave problems. This got me thinking though - what would affect all versions of AE??? Plugins. I uninstalled AEJuice Pack Manager (not sure if you have it) but it updated last night so I wondered if that had caused it. I then deleted all prefs on AE and AME by using CNTRL+ALT+SHIFT whilst launching each app from the Adobe Creative Cloud app. I'd already done this multiple times but figured one more time wouldn't hurt. I then shut down my machine properly rather than restart, waited a bit, turned it back on and I was able to render again no issues. Can't say for sure if it was AE Juice but it may be worth trying if you have it.

Last night AME was working fine. I wake up this morning, try and render and now AME is not working right. Starts up fine, I try and add a composition, which is all going well and then as soon as it says "connected to [project]" in the Import window a crash report for After Effects appears. AME itself doesn't crash, but the import fails. I was watching the task manager as this happens, and for some reason when I import into AME, there are two versions of After Effects starting up in the background - could this be causing it??? I've tried importing multiple AE files, even the ones I rendered yesterday and it's still doing it despite it working fine yesterday. I'm using window 10, AE and AME 2020 (Version 14.9) I dont want to update any software as I'm mid-project and I've had bad experiences doing that, so can anyone suggest a solution? Can't understand why it would suddenly stop over night!

Hi there, I'm working on two artboards in Photoshop. As you can see from the first image the textured background looks the same in terms of brightness. However, on export, the image from the second artboard on the right is way darker (see the second image). Back in PS, if I duplicate the artboard content from the right artboard and place it into the artboard on the left, it now appears dark, just like the export. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to resolve it?

That's done the trick, thanks. I'm just wondering if there is a way to stop this in the future. I'm often using projects from other artists and if I have the fonts on my machine, but they have used Adobe fonts, I'll have to go through this everytime.

Hi there, I have a problem where an AE file is automatically activating Open Sans Semi bold from Adobe fonts. I already have all the open sans installed locally and so when I open my AE file, all the semi-bold text is resorting to Times New Roman meaning I have to change all the fonts every time I open it. I've tried resaving the file having specified the local version, then deactivated the open sans in adobe fonts, but whatever I do, when I reopen the issue remains and the font is reactivated. It appears to be the opensans at the bottom of the list (see attached) that is Adobe one but why is it there and why is it not noted as Semi-bold if that is the one activated?

Thanks for replying! So I looked into what you said but nothing appears in the info panel when it imports. Interestingly I tried importing into new projects and the issue isn't there so it must have something to do with the project Im working on rather than the imported project. It's a super simple project though, a bit of graded footage, and some simple shape layers with text animated over the top with animation composer. Oh and a bit of audio from Boombox. I'm not super techy so all these background issues Im lost with, but as it's not affecting the project as such (only workflow) I'll not worry about it but I appreciate you taking the time to answer my original post.

I keep getting a warning when importing and AE project into another; After effects error: illegal XML character "" in string ",XA" (23 :: 0) I've had this issue before and then it went away but since updating to AE2019 (on windows 10, 64 bit) it has come back. It never seems like the import goes wrong / anything is missing but the pop up window takes like 30+ clicks to close down which is such a pain. Any ideas???

It appears the issue below only arises if I open a project by right clicking on the AE icon on my taskbar and select a project file from there. If I open AE and then File>Open Project.... it opens without any issue. Would still be interested to know if anyone else has had this issue and if they found a root cause

Hi there, I've just updated to 2019 on windows 10 64 bit, and everytime I start AE I get this warning..... Unable to execute script at line.1 undefined is not an object It takes multiple clicks to close down the pop up window but there doesnt seem to be an issue with my file or anything missing. It's just annoying and although everything looks okay, obviously something isnt. Many thanks

I started getting this issue yesterday with AE2017 and AI22.1 on Windows 7 (Im using older versions as my grapics card prevents new versions from starting up, but thats a different story!) Ive looked at various blogs and the simplest workaround for me was to close down my libraries window. Currently its seems to be solving the issue when using AE and AI....hopefully I've not jinxed it! For AE I just closed the libraries window, but with AI I had to open a file, close the library window, resave the file, and close down the app so the libray window isn't active when you open. Hope its the same with dreamweaver!

Champion! That did the trick, at least on desktop with Acrobat. Mobile is a whole other nightmare, I've tested multiple readers on Samsumg and only Xodo plays audio and also makes the buttons work correctly...everything else just fails, even Adobe Acrobat. Basically the client should be going with a micro site but theyre positive they want a PDF........ 😕 Thanks again for your help!

Hi there, Just wondering, I want to reveal some hidden text and images through use of a button in my PDF but in order to do so I need to make these items also buttons. That means when revealed the cursor indicates they are clickable which will be confusing for teh reader since they arent meant to be. Is there a workaround by maybe making a layer of content visible or something? Many thanks!

hi, Not sure if you figured this out but I found a work around as I was getting the same issue when trying to import a vector based animation using AE 15.1.2 on Windows 7. In my case I'd kept pressing "okay" on the warning until the project I was importing appeared in my AE project. Everything appeared to be there but just not visible so I dropped a 'fill' onto one object and everything else suddenly appeared. It wasn't the most over complicated scene so maybe you might be sitting there for hours clicking okay but figured I'd let you know.

I agree, Im currently kicking myself for updating After Effects. All was working fine with 15.0.1 but switching to 15.1.2 and now my graphics cards is stopping it from launching. The only thing adobe says is disable the graphics cards which isnt really a work around considering loads of my plugins are GPU accelerated. Nvidia say its adobe's problem, adobe say its Nvidias. Wish I'd not done anything Now Im thinking switching to windows 10 and doing a big update might resolve things.....or simply go back to AE 2017.

Thanks for your help on this Neill, im really rubbish on the tech side of things so all help is welcome. Whats annoying is everything was fine with ae 2018 15.0.1 but updating it to the latest version 2018 has caused the issue. Ive updated drivers and spoken with both nvidia and adobe but nobody can help except say disable the GPU which is a rubbish solution considering trapcode etc are GPU accelerated. What GPU would you suggest? Do you also think i should update to windows 10?
