This appears to have helped for me. Crashed 3 times today when using the remove tool and after switching this over its not crashed yet. Hopefully it stays that way.

This looks like it is linked with a similar bug to action colours I reported in 2023: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/photoshop-action-colours/m-p/14584963#M806660 Just referencing that here too so the two can be investigated together depending on which is picked up first 😀

Im still seeing the issue too. I get excited with each release just in case it will have been fixed. I often refer back to this workaround list to get the right colours I actually want too! Fingers crossed its picked up soon!

Issue: Some of the photoshop Action colours are mapping to the wrong colour
Photoshop version: 25.2.0
OS: MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2
Steps to reproduce:
Create an Action
Choose List mode rather than Button Mode
Double Click the action name to get Action Options
Choose one of the following colours: Seafoam, Blue, Indigo, Magenta, Fuchsia, Violet or Grey
Change back to Button Mode, the colour doesnt match what was selected. They are mapping to the following instead:
Seafoam becomes Blue
Blue becomes Violet
Indigo becomes Grey
Magenta becomes Seafoam
Fuchsia becomes Indigo
Violet becomes Magenta
Grey becomes Fuchsia
Expected result: The colour selected is what the action button is set to Actual result: The colour is mapping to one of the colours mentioned above
