Not that it's helpful but I agree. Generative AI tools like Remove work exponentially worse in 2025 Beta than they did in older versions like 2023 and 2024. I mean they literally lock this computer up now with the slightest use, when they've been around and worked flawlessly for years. The new crop tool I agree is a downgrade and I feel like there's probably a way to revert the way it works.

Mine literally alwayt freezes when trying to access the file menu. It's a miracle the program works at all - it never crashes but it will hang 19 times in a row when trying to click file save and always recover. i never had this issue before 2024 not even once, and I've done the troubleshooting, that's not the issue.

I had this same issue all the time on 2015 and frankly that is the entire reason I upgraded to 2017. "Upgraded". Except this version doesn't work either, but that specific issue I haven't encountered yet. Just new ones.

This really shouldn't be something I have to even ask a question about but I've found no answer in help or anywhere else. How do you get rid of this absolutely ridiculous waste of space? The UI wasn't like this in Premiere CC 2014 and 2015. No matter what icon or list view I select there's still a giant waste of space there and there doesn't appear to be any way to modify it.
