Try opening the PSD created in Photoshop (Beta) 26.1 in the current release of Photoshop 26.0, then hide a Layer, show it again, and save.  Then try importing that into the current release of After Effects 25.0.1.  Hopefully, re-saving the file in the current release of Photoshop that corresponds to the current release of After Effects resolves your issue. If that still crashes After Effects while not in Safe Mode, open the PSD file in Photoshop 26.0 again and save it with "_for_AE" appended to the filename (so you have the original PSD and are now working in a duplicate).  Go through the Layer Stack and reduce everything to being only pixels on a Layer with Layer Transparency as much as possible while still maintaining the appearance of the document.  Try to get the Layer Stack to look like you placed several PNGs with transparency in a PSD file.  Save and then try importing the "_for_AE" version of the file into the current release of After Effects 25.0.1. If that still crashes After Effects while not in Save Mode, take a close look at any third-party plugins, add-ons, and extensions. ... View more

Hi @charmander4444 what did you click on or how did you get here? Have you had Ps beta installed before now?   If you launch your CCD app, you should see this: Highlight the Apps icon on the left, then scroll across the to to see Beta and click it. You should see all the beta apps that your subscription has access to.   If you do not see beta apps, it is possible you have an EDU or Enterprise account that your IT Admin has restricted access to betas, then you would need to contact them.   Thanks, Cory - Photoshop Product Manager ... Just tested it myself and it works well here. I closed PS. Then I made a new desktop in which I started PS. I went back to my earlier desktop and dragged some pics onto a droplet. It worked with no PS in sight 🙂 ... View more
