@Trevor.Dennis. I look at your link and they do have good tips for Wacom... My preference to avoid any instability, is still the PSUserConfig.txt method... it's pretty simple, it keep everything stable, i continu to uncheck windows ink, on my wacom Intuos Pro tablet , it doesn't affec my Cintiq either. and uncheck windows ink in Windows 11 pro (latest version).

Overexpose with blown out highlight, there is no more data to play with. If if may, my two cents are: go for underexpose instead when you are in situation like that, at least you will have data to play with. For Exposure Metering: go for spot metering. Depending of your camera model, as a exemple in the setting of like in the Nikon D850 you also have that great option of [ Highlight-Weighted Metering } it's especially for those types of photography, such as theater, concert, or situation, of a bright subject and dark background. Of course ISO is your friend also the quality of your lens at least with a opening of f2.8, noise will be more present in the dark area that you can fix easily in post production.

thanks for the reply. I did, but still less quality, unprecise and really slow compare to last 2024 update.... I'm a fan of the remove tool, it's incredable, so usefull and the result is a wow factor.... but need to stay as good or evolve in the right direction, not to be broken with new version as many tool as experience with update and new version..

I did install PS 2025 v26.0 was curious, some future look promising, but I uninstall it pretty fast.... But not before testing it.... First PS v26.0 it's solwer and eats more RAM 43% compare to PS v25.12.0. 23%. My favorite tool : remove tool : PS v26.0 it's broken... so slow.... instead of removing the object or like a dog, it does replace it by another dog image!!!! it does have difficulty to remove bigger object or people. That superb tool became unstable, imprecise and unreliable. remove distraction doesn't really work or do an OK job(not a wow factor) event with only one person on the pics, remove distraction doesn't see it.... To make remove tool to work a bit better, I had to turn AI off... but even then... still really broken... by now, i'm sure you know that I uninstall 2025 and reinstall 2024(v25.12.0) As you know many of us, use it for work and do not need newer version with more things broken then the previous version... but every time a newer version come out, I do hope that all the tool are improve, not the other way around... So many other things(bugs), but for now it's enough.... Adobe, I do understand that you have an obsession concerning your AI and you do everything you can to push it, but at on point, if you can't control your obsession, you know that you can ask for help, like, talk to a friend or consult a medical professional... But at one point you have to stop to harass us (your paid customer).... with your AI obsession... every time we open PS or when we do any work in PS..... Please reach for help before it's too late.... you deserve it... you're worth it... but please let others in peace...

Did a few test , PS 25.7 with Wacom pro pen 2, either with Cintiq or Intuos pro and no lag when using free transform or anything involving dragging.... I presume you have the latest Wacom driver update and your GPU...

DEUX images ci-jointes indiquent la démarche et les 5 ajustements à modifier. Il y a une image qui affiche en détail lorsque vous cliquez sur CUDA GPU et ajustements à modifier. choisir 3D setting (menu de gauche) mange 3d settings Ensuite dans la fenêtre de droite. onglet programme setting Une liste de vos logiciels s'affichera Sélectionner PHOTOSHOP qui sera dans la liste déroulante. Bonjour Ruyblas, Photoshop reconnait votre GPU RTX 4070 En premier vérifier la version de votre GPU Nvidia rtx 4070, si votre version de pilote n'est pas la plus récente :551.86, il faudra le Mettre à jour. Idéalement installer le pilote NVIDIA STUDIO voir image ci-jointe qui indique les infos a inscrire si vous le télécharger via le site web de nividia driver. Vous pouvez aussi l'installer via le logiciel de nvidia ''geforce expérience '' s'il est installé sur votre ordi. choisir le pilote STUDIO, pas GAMER Ensuite il faudra vous assurer via application nvidia control installer sur votre portable, qui permet d'ajuster vos préférences pour l'utilisation avec Photoshop. Lorsqu'arriver a cette étape si vous avez besoin d'infos, je pourrai vous les transmettre.

Hi Michelle243007171z7l, I did give it a go with your image it work 50% of the time. It works better with lasso tool and : edit/generative fill, instead of using generative menu bar. No idea why. Also work better if Sample all layers is uncheck... Why ? no idea... Sometimes result was fine when I wrote " remove" as a prompt. Hi, something it can be challenging and frustrating with Photoshop. As you know, more tech info you share better it is to get proper assistance. As you know, the GPU also depend of other component and setting. > Your Processor model and does it come with or without and an integrated graphic. > Did you set up your preference for photoshop in NVIDIA Control Panel ? it's important , more so when the processor have integrated graphics. > Did Photoshop preference-performance recognise your RTX 4090, if yes, did you set your preference in the advanced menu ? > GPU temperature > RAM , how many do you have ? Photoshop loves RAM. Did you test it in the bios or else to be sure everything is working properly ? > Latest NVIDIA Drivers > Latest BIOS Version and so own...

Dear Adobe PS 25.3.1, when I launch PS, I don't have the home screen anymore, instead I have a black screen, when I click on F9, the tab etc.. open, like it supposed to be(at least hope) when I launch PS... if i click on the HOME icon, it just doesn't do anything... nothing different if I delete or rename the preference file. It's getting worst, even if I didn't modify the setting or else. when I click for << new document>>, it's the legacy(old) new document box, that open and it's really slow to open, I assume it's normal when you're getting older ... About sniffer, I don<t have sniffer.exe.. the only thing is sniffer out, and it multiply itself like rabbits.. Windos 11 Pro PS 5.3.1 Nvidia 4080

thanks for you reply. The bug is concerning the home screen not to show either at the start or when needed to go to the home screen.. It was working fine 2 days ago, so.. PS do not freeze or crash, so no need to upgrade to 25.4, so i will wait and I don't want any new bug to appear. thanks.

Hi Adobe and everyone here, PS v 25.3.1 / windows 11 Pro. Since two days, when I launched PS, the home screen is not there anymore... Also, When I open a file and click on the Home option on the taskbar, it shows a black screen, I have to click on the F key 3 times to get back to my file and PS workspace... When I have a file open, but floating, I still have the black windows but the file is showing on top of it. To get back to the workspace, first I have to click on the square icon to make the file bigger, second I have to click the F key. Also when I launched PS, it' slower to open... I did a test: uncheck Auto show the Home Screen Preference and PS open faster. SO what can be the reason for the home screen not to apears anymore either when I open PS or try to access it via the home icon ? PS : nothing was change in the preference option. thanks........

thanks for the reply... strange because for so many years It did work like the other option.... ex: As you know when we click on the mask icon in the layer panel, it as a masque and fill the mask base on the selection on the image... all in one step... So that for this reason the shortcut was pretty useful. Now if I do as you suggested it will take me two step to do what it did in one step, like the other option in PS... I know I can create a action.. but .... If I may, base on your info, that will be great to have-had the option to create a shortcut that does all that in one step.... had a mask and apply the mask... So may be all the previous version of PS I had, had a bug that make it work like that, so please put back that bugs:) (jocke).... or it's my lack of sleep that make me imagine things... :):) Question: why do they call it " reveal All ", ? because in reality, we always say "ad a mask", and to reveal is normally to show something hidden or a secret... etc.
