Not only does Adobe not allow us to tell it not to come back, but the "don't show for seven days" button is fraudulent: I just clicked it this morning, and less than an hour later the popup was back. This will be my last year of Adobe subscription. The Affinity platform applications are every bit as good, in many cases better (as a photographer, Adobe's RAW conversion engine has been notoriously bad at color conversion and saturation for years, and it shows), and it is a one-time purchase, far less expensive than Adobe, the company continually upgrades and updates it, and they don't spam you. Goodbye, Adobe.

For the last week or two Adobe has been popping up ads to "upgrade my plan" in Photoshop. (Seriously guys? I already pay for this software, there are cheaper and/or free alternatives coming out every day, and you're spamming us to suck more money? You think this is a good idea?) There is a "stop for seven days" check box (hidden, that you have to scroll down to see), but no option for "[removed by moderator]" How do I stop these? Or, rather, I should say, is there a way to stop these other than dumping my Adobe subscription altogether, which is what it seems Adobe is trying to get me to do?
