Why is this beyond the pale to fix? They left it in place so that we can use it, just in the most damned annoying way possible. Every couple of minutes the alt key gets the context stuck in some random panel somewhere and now every keystroke is throwing windows beeps until I do this little ritual of minimizing and restoring the window... It's an annoying bug, without question. I have been a designer longer than some of you have been alive, that being said, the downgrade to 2024 is a great solution. I work on a Mac and find that if I leave a project open for prolonged periods of time, it triggers this bug. I save often and will restart photoshop when it shows up. The Save for web (legacy) export option works fine for me! It preserves all exif data like camera model and lens. But you have to make sure the image you're currently working on actually contains exif data. I noticed when you use the protocol to open the current image in a new tab, it loses some exif data. ...
