The most reliable solution for me is just turning off G-sync straight up, but I do play games on the same computer I use Photoshop on, so always going to the control panel every time I play and use Photoshop to switch G-sync gets annoying. Fortunately, someone made a program to switch G-sync on and off more convenient: GsyncSwitch by kwizatz88 on GitHub. The program allows you to switch G-sync, as well as other monitor tech, directly from the System Tray.

Hurray for one who posted a meaningful screenshot right away! Check out the Blend Mode in the Options Bar, it’s set to »Dissolve«.

The simplest way is to select your graphic, pull down Window > Effects, then where it says Opacity:100%, set that to whatever percentage you want to get the effect you want.

Do you mean the spaces in the first line? It is because the text is justified, as Eugene wrote. When you justify a text in narrow columns, you have to play with the justifications settings, as rob day explained here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/different-spacing-between-words/m-p/12112585 I do not want to be rude, but type setting is a long apprenticeship…

It's not a complicated matter. Just hide the grid (View > Hide Grid), then go to the Layers palette and show their content by clicking on the first columns in the row items "Layer 2" and Layer 1" (an open eye will appear). There are other ways to show all, but that should work anyway.
