Hi,I recalled that years ago I was using the "PSUserConfig.txt" method, which was reported as not working any longer, at least not in the new versions of PS.I tried it and it solved my issue. Create a text file called PSUserConfig.txt with the content of: "UseSystemStylus 0". Place it in "...\appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025\Adobe Photoshop 2025 Settings\"

I am using latest PS version 26.3 on win10. Nvidia with latest driver. When I Use Windows Ink, pen pressure is working but i get an anoying text under the cursor when I press Atl/Ctrl/Shift. This is annoying but I can tollerate it. the problem is that once I press any of these keys, when using the selection brush e.g., it changes the cursort from brush to noraml arrow cursor for the rest of teh selection operation. I start 'quick selectio' the sursor is a brush shape and if I press e.g., Alt it change to the default windows arrow cursor and stays this way even when I release the Alt button. When unselect Use Windows Ink, the selection works as it should , the brush does not change shape to arrow, there is no annoying text under the brush, however, the pen pressure is not working. So how do i make it all work?

Thanks, I hope abode will add this in the future. They are surly aware of this becuase after generating the image the view chnages to fit the correc angle of the generated image. I think it should be the other way round. That the generated image will fit the view.

Hi, Can I make Generative Background create adn image which will fit the current camera position and lighting? I could try e.g. specify that "...shot taken from close to the groudn where the lght is comming from behide the scene at a low angle...." but that will never get me the the exact angel and lighting the subject is in. Can it be done, or not yet?

Recently updated to Stager 3.0.2 and I can't render anymore. I set stager to use high performance for the graphic card in the system settings. My system is compatible according to the log. I use win10 (latest update) 1080ti (updated) I read in some forums that others had the same issue and reverted back to older version of Stager. I still want to know if there is a better solution. When I render, it starts rendering and then crashes with this error: "Unable to start the rendering engine..."

I am trying to correct chromatic abboration on an image with a lot of purple orange and pink. I need to apply different defringe value to different ares of teh image. Is this possible: E.g. whne to remove this: I use these value: but hten a different part of the image looks like this: So if i pull to one side i get destortion in another aprt. I could load both into PS and use deffrent defringe values and mask as required if this is the solution.

My lightroom classic is installed on a PC and its catalog is synced. On my laptop (LT) I installed lightroom CC and I can see the synced albums/collection from PC. I created a new album, on LT, using Lightroom CC and I noticed it is automatically synced also to the lightromm classic catalog on PC. I don't want that. How can I prevent specify albums, created elsewhere, in this case on LT, from syncing to my Lightroom classic on PC?

The brush size previe keeps disappearing fro me after some time. When thsi happens the brush is still working but very very slow. In addition when i stroke siomething. nothing is shows on the screen untill I unclick the mouse. I though this was a wacom issue but since it happen without wacom I believe it is a PS issue. My setting are ok and caps of course is not pressed. It is working fine with PS launches and gets corupt after some use without any settings changes. Another thing which stops working is the red marker of the remove tool - i simply do not see it. The tool itself is working but the red previe of the removed image is transparent. Hi, I have several actions which I recorder, in which the first action is to merge all layers. The problem I am facing is that whne there is only 1 layer in the "merge all layers" (CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+E) command is not working. Nor does it work when there are several layers but only one is visible while all the others are hidden. I tried to use teh Actions Condition option but there is no way to check if the documnet has 1 layer. Is there a way to make sure tha action duplicate the current layer, in case there is opnly one latyer in the doc, otherwise it "merge all layers"? I can oof course add a simple command which does this to my UXP plugin but the action approach is simpler now.

After one of the most recent updtates, all edit in photoshop/layers/s,art object is grayed out. I use latest version of both LR & PS on windows. My OS is updated. I am connected to creative cloud. "Show in explorer" takes me to the proper file location adn the files are there. I recently updated my HD but all is working. What can that be? Hi, I am trying to debug why some of the actions in an old set of acton I once purchased are not working. I believed cuase is the way a copied layer is named. I found out that if I have a layer called e.g. "Extract" and after it is selected the action is using "Layr Via Copy". The copied layer may be named "Layer 1", "Layer 2", "layer 3" ... However im may also be named "Extract Copy", "Extract Copy 2", "Extract Copy 2"... (no ""Extract Copy 1". 1 action is running fine, producing "layer N" names and the other which produces "extract layer N" is not. E.g. this is how the layers should look after the copy operation: This is how it should not look: I placed a "stop" command right befor the copy command and tried to step over each command by pressing CTRL and double click the "Layer Via Copy" command when "Exctract" layer is selected. If created "Layer 1" as the action expects. However when I deleted "Layer 1", selected "Extract" layer and doubled clicked the "Layer Via Copy" command, it now created "Extract Copy 2" layer. Why is it that the same "Layer Via Copy" can produce different layer names in diffrent actions? Why is it that the same "Layer Via Copy" can produce a layer with a specific name and when that layer is deleted the "Layer Via Copy" will produce a llayer with a diffeent name. And the most important question for this is how do I 'reset' this naming to have the copied layers named consistant?

Thank you. Can you summerize to process of making the ATN=>XMl->ATN method and required tools in PS2023? As mentioned on teh beginning of this thread i can't make the 'old' methoid work and since I have many sucj actions I'd rather not bother your with all of them. In addition it will be a trial and error process to fix the ATN. As for your second query, I believe I know what is the firts problem I encounter regarding the old actions. The action duplicate a layer multiple times and then performs action on the copied layer. It selects them by name. I believe in older version of PS, when you copied a layer it would get a default 'different name'/ See here, layer are being copied: The above actions generate these layers: However, the action expects the copied layer to be: "layer 1", "layer 2", "layer 3" .. As can be seen here: and this is exactly where the action fails with htis error: since it can't find "Layer 2". "Layer 2" is now called "Extract Copy 2"

I'm very familiar with UXP. I created multiple plugins. I can import the atn via alchemist and run it but it produces errors related to batch play. Probably some of the interpretation is not going through so well. I can contact the developer but who know how long it will take to fix evey action. Best if I could use the older methos which does not require batch play.

I agree but this will not solve my issue. I have old actions which I once purchased and tehy stopped working. Support for them dioes not exist, therefore I want to fix them myself and I believe I know what the problem is, only changing it in a huge number of places is not practical. Therefor I need a way to edit the action as text and set back as action. I found this: Converting an action to function which can be helpful. I tested th emethod on small actions and it worked well. However on the large function which does not run i yes a system error which I ma unable to debug. The above method provided a "Batch Play" action which is very hard to debug.

Hi, I read a few old discussions regarding this, e.g. this one but either I am doing somethign wrong or, those methods do not work in new version of PS. I need to adit a very long atn file which no longer works in PS 2023. How can I edit atn file externallt in PS 2023. I guess I need a new version of the tool which exports to xml and one which imports back as atn, unless there is a newer method. I am using latest version of PS on windows. Thanks

Hi, I know I can use the generative fill ai using PS Beta. I think I read and that FireFly can be use from withing PS or on teh web via Adobe Express. Can I use the Text To Image cabability in PS as well and if yes, how? Thanks
