Hi, I have had a similar issue, I cannot select "People" using the Remove Tool... Find Distractions button options, even though I'm using the Adobe stock photo of the guy sat on a wall that was originally shipped with the tutorial. It simply will not select the other people in the image, showing an error of: "Couldn't find any people who are not the subject of the image". Has anyone had any luck correcting this issue? I've tried the Stability amendment in the settings as suggested by fungw25548055, but nothing has worked. Thanks folks, best wishes.

This appeared about a month ago, or possibly a bit more. I waited to see if this gets resolved before posting. I have three tab groups stacked on the right hand side of the window. When I run Photoshop, whatever is the lowest tab group of the three (I tried switching them around) is closed, with the middle tab group stretched to fill the height, and I have to click it open manually. This doesn't seem to be a problem with the Core Tools workspace, only with workspaces I created myself. I'm atacching my workspace, even though looking at it, all tab groups are set to is-closed = false.

Hi @Michael Gros,
Thank you for the message and details.
When it's about rescaling only, uncheked the "Preserve strokes position" option should give you the right result.
However, if you're moving a single object in a larger scene, I'm afraid there won't be a simple solution.
You can export the Maps from the previous project and reapply those in the current one, but you'll lose the editable aspect.
You can also turn the Layer Stack into a SmartMaterial and use it in the new project.
That being said, those workarounds have their limitations and editing a 3D mesh aftewards is tedious.
Best regards,

I agree with hugh3540. You have an alpha channel, go to the channels winbdow and delete it, or, when exporting, uncheck "Alpha channels" which I can see in your screenshot is checked.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the question.
This is indeed an annoying process, but this is the expected process, due to how Substance 3D Painter keeps the project files autonomous.
Considering you can't currently modify the Layer Stack through the API, I'm not aware of a script to automate this reloading workflow. With that being said, there are plans to enhance the API, so that could change in a near future.
Best regards,

Where are the screenshots?
I discovered that after making a rectangle, pressing the Escape key turns off the transform options and allows you to place more rectangles/shapes close to each other.
Why do you need to press esc? What happens if you just click and drag immediately to create a new Path/Shape Layer?

»THIS IS A MAJOR DEAL.« I disagree, but maybe you could provide meaningful descriptions of the scenarios where Shape Layers don’t provide a useful alternative. »I cannot get it to work right and it keeps adding arrows at the end of each line.« Why don’t you turn off the arrowheads?

Hi
As a work around you could hide the handles by hitting the H key and then V + Alt to drag a copy

Hello, as Christoph said, it is a bug with this new funtion, here is the thread where you should vote (me too) and post a comment to state that it also breaks your workflow.

The temporary workaround is to right-click on the thumbnail to get the desired option (add/substract/intersect transparency mask , instead of the hard-learned shortcut. (kudos to that!)
