At this point, I've just accepted that they're never going to fix it. It's been so long that my brain has already adjusted my muscular memory to deal with this bug as if it were a natural thing. It's really sad. Maybe in the near future, they end up fixing it unintentionally while changing something else in Photoshop's code. To be honest, that's my only hope.

Same thing here. It always gets stuck while panning and zooming. I've been experiencing this annoying bug for months now. I always have to close and open photoshop again to make it stop. It happens with both photoshop and photoshop beta versions, using either my wacom intuos pro or mouse. It also happens on different computers.

@CShubert as I've mentioned in the post, I'm using an Intuos Pro PTH-460. I already had flick panning disabled, and I'll test disabling overscroll to see if it is the problem (hopefully not, because having it enabled is really important for my workflow).

Everything was a fresh installation with the latest drivers versions, so I don't think resetting photoshop and wacom prefs to default would do anything, sadly... Another important point is that it only happens on photoshop. (for example, this bug of not detecting the pen release could also happen while scrolling down in the browser or in a Windows folder, but it doesn't happen). And it only happens while using the panning/zooming using the spacebar. Every other tool/feature detects the pen release as intended every time.

Hello! I've recently built a new PC and I keep getting this bug. I don't know what triggers it, though. It only starts happening after a while. I always use spacebar or ctrl+spacepar for zooming and panning around, and it always worked without any problems on my old laptop. The bug: When I use this feature, I proceed pressing ctrl+spacecbar normally, then touch the pen on the tablet's surface and drag it to move things around; BUT, sometimes, when I release the pen photoshop, doesn't recognize it and keeps moving the canvas, like if I hadn't released. When this bug happens, even releasing the keys (crtl/spacebar) doesn't help. Things keep moving. The only way to stop it is to touch the pen on the tablet's surface back again. I have to close and open photoshop to temporarily fix it. Photoshop version: 41.4.1 Wacom device: Intuos Pro PTH-460 Windows 10 pro

Hello. Every single time I try to use a neural filter I face this error: Actually, this is been happening since a long time ago. I was only able to use neural filters in the very early versions of photoshop. I've already tried enabling/disabling GPU inside photoshop and doing a clean uninstall of my radeon software, then reinstalling the most up-to-date one available. My laptop is quite old, but it used to work before, so I don't think the lack of power is the real problem here. It's a DELL i7-4510U, 8gb ram, AMD radeon R7 M260 2GB.

I've got the same issue. I want to use the mixer brush without a color, but on every first stroke it sets the foreground color as its own color and make a mess. Seems to happen every time I open a new document.

Hi @chad.rolfs Turns out the smoothing option was enablet and set to 100%. It's weird because I never used this option before for this specific tool. Disabling it did the trick. Thank you!

Hello. I've been using the mixer brush for skin retouchig for the past ~7 years. After updating photoshop to the latest version, seems like there's something wrong with this tool. When you are performing very quick drags (clicking an area and then draging it to another area) nothing happens at all. To make the tool work you need to click, hold and drag for a longer period of time, otherwise it just won't work. I tested it on different computers (windows OS) running the latest PS verion. Same issue happens on both.
