24.6.1 (build 2). Accidentally discovered a very strange bug. Tried to make a timelapse: Step 1. Photo => prores 422 HQ Step 2. prores 422 HQ => warp stabilization no motion Step 3. prores 422 HQ (with warp stabilization no motion) => export to 4k h264. At step 2 (prores 422 HQ => warp stabilization no motion) I found that the program crashes. By trial and error I came to the conclusion that the problem is in the sides of the original file. Yes, it sounds strange. The media source is the same - a jpeg file. I shot a simple video with a simple example. The video shows how warp stabilization does not work with the prores 422 HQ 6068x4045 file and how warp stabilization works with the prores 422 HQ 6400x4266 file. Even a black video with a resolution of 6068x4045 prores 422 HQ will give the same result. I haven't tested other codecs and resolutions.

@CJButler Sorry. I saw your message, but didn't respond. I just read the whole thread and decided it was useless. I installed 24.4.1. I will not install new versions until I see that the problem is fixed.

Perhaps I will now say something very strange to you, but there is such a thing as logging. For example, the user clicks on the button to start recording a log and does some actions, after which he clicks on the button to finish recording the log, after which the user can take a log file in a certain folder and send it here. The log may contain data from both Photoshop and the operating system. Or can logging happen automatically? Why ask the same question every time about the user’s actions and computer data? Ask the user to go into Photoshop, click on a button, do the actions, click on the button, and then send you the log.

I haven't worked in Photoshop for a long time, today there was something I needed to do... the latest version... I saw this problem... I thought it was an issue with my PC... it was the same on my laptop... I was very angry... it is absolutely impossible to work in Photoshop, it’s just absolutely... then I found this topic... June 2023??? Seriously, do zoo instances work in Adobe? (abuse removed) Just tell me how this shame even got into release and stayed there for almost a year???

Sorry, but this is just funny. I repeated this trick on several computers with different videos of the same length. And stabilization does not work correctly. If I remove the effect and add it again, everything starts working correctly. Are the files ok now? What happened? Isn't it the program? I create new projects and something gets damaged right away? I even made a video. Did you repeat this and everything was fine? This sounds like an absolutely ridiculous guess. God. I'll make this answer correct. This is simply brilliant... I'm sure that if I'm alone, then Adobe simply won't be able to do anything about it, and if not, then let someone else take part in this theater of the absurd... I did what I can.

Is this issue queued for fixing? Or is there something else required from me? Usually, when I stabilize a video, I apply the effect to several clips at once, for example, to 10, wait for it to calculate, then apply it to another 10. At the moment, this is not possible due to the specified problem and my stabilization stage will last 10 times longer, which is absolutely unacceptable for my production.

My task was not to get help, but to report an error that needed to be fixed. I postponed my project until better times. Because I don’t intend to add effects every time and then remove them. In this case, I will do the project not for two months, but for four. And I’m not sure that I won’t make a mistake somewhere by adding and removing an effect and in the end it will turn out bad and I will notice it after a while. It will be a tragedy. I expected to hear something like: we checked, the error is confirmed and we will do everything to fix it as soon as possible. But I’m definitely not going to do what I was advised to do, because I simply don’t have time for it. The error needs to be corrected. Thank you.

How can a file be damaged if it works everywhere? No, the file is fine. The file names are different. No, I haven’t tried it, for what? I have plenty of other things to do. I found an error that needs to be fixed. This should work correctly, I don't have to dance around the PC for it to work. This is Prores. What's the difference? Should stabilization only work correctly with Prores?

I haven't tried it. I have projects with hundreds of videos, some of which are time lapses with the same duration, and I don’t want to do a lot of unnecessary things, because it will take much more time. This error needs to be fixed.

Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 OS build 22631.3155 PP 24.1.0 (85) I'm applying a stabilization effect to two different videos with the same duration. First to the first video, waiting for the effect to be calculated, then to the second. The effect in the second video is not calculate at all, but is ready immediately. However, it does not work correctly and it's imposible. I made a video.

It turned out that everything worked well, it was just hidden. It was necessary to stretch the working field. It was definitely an idiot's idea.

I created a simple video - a black rectangle moves on a white background. And after reviewing a lot of instructions, I did everything step by step. It doesn't give anything. The site is still transparent. What am I doing wrong?

Why should I do this at 4? I can do it up to 16384 x 8192 and lose less information. Still, it's not a solution.

I need to work with a large panorama - one JPG file (20000 or more pixels). The output sequence will be 4K, but the original file is large. Premier does not allow it to be imported. The maximum length and height of the sequence is 16384 pixels by 8192 pixels and this is extremely small. Are there any plans to increase these numbers, because it makes it impossible to work with large panoramas from which I want to make a video?

I'm confused... Found a flicker in my time-lapse. I took a series of time-lapse shots at full manual settings with aperture open. I found that in some cases, two almost identical images with a difference in a second have differences if you apply the settings for the highlights and shadows. If you remove them, then there is no difference. And this happens in places, but in places it does not. I do not understand anything. Attached photos and settings files. I really need advice. I just don't understand what the problem is and how to fix it. I know that there are some smart settings that adjust for each frame in different ways like dehaze and clarity. But I never would have thought it was about shadows and highlights. LRC v.10.2\CR v.13.2. Also, I can not download even two RAV files due to limitations, so I made a link to the archive. https://yadi.sk/d/a2LYtsTsmH-dFA

I confirm that everything above 14.3.2 is just crap. Including 15.0, 15.1 beta and 15.2 beta. AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, 128 GB 3200 MHz, Radeon RX590, MSI b550 Tomahawk, SDD. 4K, x264, 100 mbit, Software Encoding. Above version 14.3.2: CPU load - 5%, video card load - 3%. Export 3 minutes time-lapse video - 40 minutes. Version 14.3.2: CPU load - 100%, video card load - 80%. Export 3 minutes time-lapse video - 5 minutes.

I think for those who created Interop.Photoshop.dll there is a special place in hell. Question. I'm trying to change the center of the RadialBlur effect in C#. But I have no idea what and how to transfer parameter there. The definition of method says void ApplyRadialBlur (int Amount, Photoshop.PsRadialBlurMethod BlurMethod, Photoshop.PsRadialBlurQuality BlurQuality, [object BlurCenter]). That is, anything can be passed to the fourth parameter. Because the object keyword is the root of all types. In the vbs help (https://www.adobe.com/devnet/photoshop/scripting.html, https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/photoshop/pdfs/photoshop-vbs-ref-2020.pdf) it says [, BlurCenter] type Number (Double) The parameter BlurCenter is the position (unit value). WHAT? TO ME? DO? WITH THIS? INFORMATION? I spent several hours and so could not find a normal working description of com interface.

I export my project in 264 codec in 4k, CBR, bitrate 100 mb, high 5.2, default keyframe distence. Basically everything suits me. But when I go from light to dark, like a sunset or a cloud, I see a terrible pixilation from hell. I set the profile to high10 and unrestricted, it improved the situation, but somehow it is much worse than the same 264 codec as it is from the camera fuji x-t30. So the matter is in setting the codec during export, and not in the 264 codec itself.
What solutions are there to get the quality in 264 close to that of the camera in the same 264?
Or are there other options to end up with a compact file with very good quality? Please do not provide links to plugins and nothing else. We need specific examples describing the settings as you do.

I cannot open this resource. Link does not open. What can be wrong? When your project is for two hours of output video from five hours of material, for efficiency and in order not to go crazy, your editing process should have a clear structure of consistent homogeneous actions proven by experience. One of the elements of my editing structure is software stabilization. I do this at the very end of editing because then my proxies stop working if I do not disable the effects that break the proxies. And there is no need for me to be near the computer to consistently apply these effects. I can make the exact settings later. I will save my time on controlling the process, which in general is not needed if they do what I described above.
