Im probably gonna have to make a new thread as I doubt anyone will see this.... but I am at 20TB after 44 months of getting a NAS. I never culled at all and am trying to revisit old projects and kill all JPEGS, keep only few potential raws. The video work is the challenge in revisiting old footage. Premiere pro files for the final results arent linked proper sometimes. Theres alot of unnecessary footage. Im trying to make a video of it and extract as clips {split a video in timline detecting new clip). Saving those in FHD from 4k though. Will I ever use em? I doubt. Recently I have started to crop mp4s in camera so way lesser unnecessary material goes on to the storage in the first place. The file- project manager- transcode doesnt export only the clipped part of a file but saves the whole file which isnt what I want. Remembering to delete renders and audio/ video previews/ auto saves helps as well. Any recommendations on improving the process?

I need both computers to be able to access and update the LRC catalogue for the data that sits on our NAS. Onedrive perhaps? Not reallly updating it simultaneously so it would give it time for the changes to come into effect. Anyone else face this issue and came up with a solution? I dont want to it to be on an SSD as I dont wanna plug it in and out all the time. I work between my mac and PC.

This has been happening for maybe the last 6-8 months. I followed the same process before too, I download a video from insta, drag it into Pr in order to sync my clips but since recently there is the tiniest skip in the audio. If I refresh it, it could be at a different place in the timeline. It is also in the source monitor. It is not heard when I play this download in media player. I have tried changing frame rates, once in a while making a new sequence removes the problem, but sometimes it comes back again. Recently had Adobe Support look at that and somehow since then Pr is crashing even more so than usual. Any advice would be helpful.

I get you, its really annoying because I do all my edits in bridge, then go into LRC to sync, only to export with watermark. Its such a pity this is another shortcoming for Bridge.

If I do this as a batch action theres no way to set the images for example to be about 50kb upon output is there? The images in my folder that are to be convered range from 90kb to 20mb

Dont know if its the latest update but edits are laggng like never before. I took 5 hours for something i would normally take 2. This lag is seriously affecting my mental health.

Solved my problem by updating codec using klite codec software.... think you might have the same issue since it works on another PC, just not on one.

We tried to reset the view settings of the folder to default. We tried resetting the setting of the File Explorer to default. We tried resetting the preference of the VLC app as well but still in File Explorer, some videos show thumbnails and some do not even though all of them have .mp4 extension/format. It works on a macbook pro but need it to work on windows (Win 10 Pro v 22H2)

Chat GPT (albeit 3.5) suggested I use Spark as a video aggregator to round up my videos from multiple social media platforms in one place. Since Spark has now evolved to Express, can it do the same, and if yes, any recommendations for a tutorial on how to do it? If not, any suggestions on anny other of Adobe's arsenal that I could use? I need to share the end result. Update: Itseems sociablekit+adobe portfolio might work? Really hoping there's a one stop solution within Adobe though

I do not need to know which images have been cropped or adjusted, I built processes around the ability of manually arranging images and then taking the screenshot. Now it shows the crop and adjustment icons which I do not need. If updates were made to bridge, why can't we have the option to keep the previous settings we built our processes on? Other methods to reach the result now are cumbersome and reqiure extra steps in my process that will result in hours and hours of additional work and storage space and therefore cost. This is greatly affecting me.

Thats what I would do, say thumbnails only and be able to take the perfect screenshot I needed after manually arranging the layout. Now it shows the crop and adjustment icons which I dont need at all. If updates were made to bridge, why can't we have the option to keep the previous settings we built our processes on? Output module or saving the images and then manually arranging the layout is cumbersome and an extra step in my process that will result in hours and hours of additional work and storage space and therefore cost. It didn't show up before, might be due to an update. If you crop or make edits it shows it in the top right corner of the preview. Any idea how to turn off this setting please?

Im trying to figure if there is anyway to remove the crop symbol (not to uncrop). I also have a small adjustment icon nect to this. i usally enjoy screenshotting a selection and sending it off to clients and cant do this with the icons

I think I found a solution! Select the videos with greyed out thumbnails in grid view, right click and choose Develop Settings - Reset worked for me and videos didn't lose any color grading, cropping etc... 🙂

same issue here. Video plays fine once you double click it but the thumbnail and the scrubbing doesn't work on most of my mp4 and mov files. Some files show correct others not at all...

I generated several PDFS in the same way as I did all others and suddenly it generated one that is 21 mb while all others were around 250mb. Now trying to generate it for another project, and its 300mb so I went back to this other project that generated the 21mb file and tried again with same settinngs and it cant replicate that result of a 21mb file. I used to always get manageable sizes of contact sheets, any ideas anyone? 😞

Whats really sad is no acknowledgement, everyone keeps saying everything is working perfectly. While Bridge is working for me I'm having issues generating contact sheets of a reasonable size, its now 10x the size it usually is for similar amounts of images of similar sizes. (before about upto30 mb now about 290mb depending on # of pics) I have 2 projects I am late to submit these contact sheets for.... Doing it via photoshop is sucha. long drawn out method and doing it via LRC generates an equally large pdf.
