I don't know if you are still struggling with this issue on my windows laptop, but I've been dealing with the same issue for a couple of years, and toda I finally figured it out, at least for my machine. I had Parsec installed which had a virtual display driver. As soon as I uninsntalled it, photoshop got butter smooth again. It seems photoshop isn't great at dealing with multiple GPUs, even if they are virtual drivers, it just goes wacky.  So check if you have any remoted desktop app or similiar, that might have some virtual display drivers.  ... Video files generate huge storage needs. It just is ... so I know of people that have for personal use moved their original video files to a pair of giant spinners.  As I note above. Once filled, they move on. Each drive has a general list of date/name/cameras/subjects or whatever that is on it, and put on a shelf.   This isn't "totally" archival proof, but better than nothing. You can figure out some pattern acceptable to you.   And technically, RAW refers very specifically to files recorded as RAW in the camera ... not fully debayered yet. ONLY such media is called RAW. Bridge 14.0 is definitely an improvement.  Thank you for adding multi Windows back in.  So I'll get right to the current 'deal breaker' which will keep me staying with the older version.    If you look at the image below, you see that with the interface scaling at the 'first click' my defined workspaces do not fill the menu bar.  The area is largely unused.   Since the only way to save or reset workspaces is the little 3-bar icon, you can't really use anything that doesn't appear in the menu bar visibly because you cannot get back to the saved state once you've modified it.   I believe you need to add a right click menu to the workspaces that appear only in the popup area so that they can be reset, or saved as other workspaces. I can minimize this limitation by setting the smallest UI scaling but it is almost unusable on a 4K monitor.  The font is miniature, even though there is still much unnecessary padding between rows in the app that could be used for file content instead. This is at all scale settings.  I don't know why this padding is considered to be so important.  Please go back and review the 2018 Bridge version to see your former UI design brilliance in action.  I still use this version anytime I am not editing photos in CR.   Regarding the Multiple Open Windows, has there been discussion of saving ANY configuration of windows into a workspace?  This would be any combination of stand-alone or undocked windows.   Obviously much work has been done  to get where we are now (better).  I assume there is more progress on the way.     ... I do not need to know which images have been cropped or adjusted, I built processes around the ability of  manually arranging images and then taking the screenshot. Now it shows the crop and adjustment icons which I do not need. If updates were made to bridge, why can't we have the option to keep the previous settings we built our processes on? Other methods to reach the result now are cumbersome and reqiure extra steps in my process that will result in hours and hours of additional work and storage space and therefore cost.
