Anyone else having trouble with 'New' document interface not working? Go to select new 4K template from new documents window under Film/Video...and nothing happens. The window then becomes unresponsive, but Photoshop still 'functions'...it just seems stuck on the window. Hitting escape to clear the window then 'frees' the program and when I try to create a new document again I instead get the legacy new document window. At least that works. Anyone else seeing this?

Good to know there's a temporary "fix". Also interesting that this bug wasn't squashed before release. Maybe we're all just misunderstanding and they intended this as a new feature. At any rate, thanks, Jeff!

Having an issue with Photoshop 25.12.0... The fly-out menus for the toolbar are covered by floating windows. They should always be visible above any window you are working out of. Anyone else seeing this issue? iMac Pro 18 core - 128GB RAM Radeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB macOS 14.7

Not to necro a thread, but, as I had some spare time and have battled this on and off for a while... I believe this issue is related to the 'live' renaming of text layers by their content. I think it's really that simple. Name your text layer instead of letting it update automatically, see if the speed does not return no matter what font, not even Faux Bold slows it down. I can't understand why this simple issue brings After Effects to it's knees, but I have a lot of questions about After Effects performance lately.
