Amazing! I thought document color seemed awfully unrelated to the rest of the features under the check box. That explanation clears it up. Might be worth revising the description line: The color mode for non-essential messages will be auto set to 'Neutral Color Mode' When I searched help for "Neutral Color Mode" nothing came up, so I wasnt sure what it was/meant. Thank you!

This is still a problem and it comes from the Generative Expand feature in firefly itself... Sadly, i can't use Firefly's brilliant API until this is fixed or brought to a better state. It seems that Adobe is trying to create a soft mask to make the transition between the generated content and the original less obvious but the colour difference is still there. If you print any of these artworks you will 100% see a very nasty variance!

I tried for a while to get them to make the keyboard commands the same, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I still would love this feature in mobile/lightroomcc, keyboard z for zoom, flagging same as LrC, and brush size adjustments, and slider adjustments via plus and minus key.

I am using Photoshop version 26.3 on Windows 11 with an Intel Iris Xe Graphics card, and I cannot get Liquify to work. After choosing the command, a dialog appears saying "Could not complete the Liquify command because of a disk error." I've tried everything: turning off my GPU, updating the drivers, installing a different GPU, reinstalling Photoshop while resetting preferences, increasing my RAM allocation, making sure my scratch disks have enough space, deleting temporary Photoshop files, and nothing is working. I have done online searches and see a lot of posts about this, but haven't found a fix. Does anybody have any ideas about what's going on? I'm about to downgrade my version of Photoshop, but it's just so frustrating that I have to keep resetting up my workspace over the past two days that I have been messing around with this. I don't even know what version to go back to, as I have seen this problem appearing from as far back as 2021 in this forum.

unlike these other built-in filters. ACR does not have a handy way to pull the image stack data out of Photsohop and present it in the UI.
Hi Mark,
we don't need the whole image stack-data, but only two things in the »Camera Raw-Filter«:
1. a merged stack in Camera Raw (no problem, can even be solved with an action),
2. transparency-information of the currently targeted layer, which ACR already supports, and which makes sure, that only the non-transparent parts of a layer/Smart Object are changed.
The merging could be scripted (e.g. hold down Alt while launching Camera Raw to use this workflow) and the merged layer could also be discrard when leaving the filter.
So there is "only" one thing to solve in the »Camera Raw-Filter«: Replace the displayed checkerboard transparency with the merged layer, but handle the current object like before. And that would open up the whole power of the great masking-tools and their workflow for compostiting. I am no engineer so I have to believe you if you say, that this seemingly simple viewport option was hard to realize. 😉

Well, at least we can dispense with the envirnomental concern. Firefly runs on AWS, and AWS has been carbon neutral for more than a year: https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/sustainability/amazon-renewable-energy-goal. Adobe is working to reduce their carbon footprint, but currently is less green than Firefly and other AWS-hosted services.
We've established that most of the ethical concern is based on the practices of companies other than Adobe, so we're just down to a philosophical aversion to generative AI "art," which many of us share. That doesn't stop the tools from being professionally useful.
No one, I hope, is suggesting that you not hold strong opinions on this subject. Opinions should be based on facts, however, otherwise they are just bigotry.

The Photoshop compositor does clip off-canvas pixels when de-selected, but that can be avoided, as some have pointed out, by converting the desired layer into a smart object first (that will not get clipped, but you also must edit its contents isolated from the composition, so not a great solution), or just pre-emptively working on a larger canvas to give yourself enough room to slide stuff out of the way while you need to.
It is possible that this changed 3 or so years ago; we modernized our compositor back then and while most functionality was seamlessly preserved, this one feature may have been dropped.

lol! thanks for going extra miles checking that. I haven't EVER touched that box, and I only use my own "tool set" setting I made for my work routine. I had no problem in this same computer under the same setting with this adobe account for almost 3 years doing the same 2D sketching and rendering. Then one day, all of a sudden, both MAGIC WAND and PAINT BUCKET tool decided to uncheck "Contiguous" option box.. I didn't touch anything though I can't prove. Just saying.. but yes. Learning something new feels good! I can troubleshoot myself later, and will appear mighty to others experiencing the same issues. Thanks.:)

This issue has not been resolved yet. It seems fine at first, but the more you use it, the slower it becomes and there is a delay of about 0.5 seconds. There is no smoothness like diabel GPU Liquify.

Xanathon wrote "...as you can see from the multiple tries to force their usage of our work for AI training upon us"
This is false. Adobe does not use your work for Generative AI training.
From Adobe Help:
"Our Approach.
We do not and have never trained Adobe Firefly on customer content.
"Adobe Firefly is trained on a dataset of licensed content, such as Adobe Stock, and public domain content where copyright has expired. Adobe Stock content is covered under a separate license agreement, and Adobe compensates contributors for the use of that content.
"We do not train and have never trained Adobe Firefly on user content.
"We recently updated our General Terms of Use to explicitly spell out this commitment (Sections 2.2F and 4.3C2)."

The file sounds corrupted to me; guessing that Photoshop is encountering the PNG magic bits in the file, but its parser is choking on it. I have no idea what 'market SOS' means, or in what context it appears.

Is anything else still in the works? Using a 4K screen, the cursors are still very hard to see at times. There is now a Brush Tip Outline setting but what we really need is a cursor scale option. Additionally, a negative cursor option like the Windows Inverted cursor scheme would help make the cursor much more visible.
