Sorry for getting back that late... 1. Does this happen to all images? 2. Have you tried this in other folders? 3. And lastly, where is this folder located? External drive, on your Desktop? Where? By @gary_sc 1. No, it only happens with small images like 640x480px etc. . The more px the picture has, the bigger the facetted square in the center. It seems as beginning with 1400 px or some the tool shows the correct image but is still very laggy when moving around. Zooming in from 100% to 200% also enlarges the square in the center an reduces the surrounding facet-rectangles. There is another remarkable thing: as the magnifying glass is very laggy when moving around, the cursor-arrow afterwards is not pointing to the same position relating to the magnifying glass as when I started. In Bridge CS6 the tool moved at the same speed as my normal cursor-arrow and thus afterwards always pointed to the same position relating to the magnifying glass as when started. 2. Yes, in all folders it shows the same behaviour. 3. The folders are on the internal HD of my computer. Some are directly on the desktop. When using external drives it shows the same weird behaviour.

System configuration - Are you using a multi-monitor setup? (Please share details, if yes)
Could you share the sample files with which you are facing the issue?
Could you check the following in the color settings dialog : (Edit Menu -> Color Settings)
Is it syncronised or unsyncronised?
What is the color profile selected?
Does changing it solve the issue?
Please share the sample file/files on which you are observing the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com and mention this thread.
Also the second issue is related to Lightroom Classics app. You can refer to relevant forum for this issue. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

one thing i'm curious about - but not sure how to monitor - is what actually happens to the existing cache files? Those files are in a folder. So when the regeneration happens, does Bridge send a command to purge them? do they first dissapear? Or, are new duplicate files added 'along side' the 'old' ones?

Adobe Bridge 2025 now fully supports viewing HEIC images but the latest Bridge on Windows still can't open HEIC imges in Camera Raw. So HEIC is only partially supported in Bridge on Windows. HEIC is also unsupported for Quick Actions.

Hi, It's now maybe 2 or 3 years since I have this issue (last version of Bridge that I am using - for this reason - is 2022), so - I don't think Adobe is giving this priority, maybe not even aware of it (it's not very often people complain about it when I did google search...) It would be nice but I don't expect fix anytime soon - they probably need to change the whole "zoom in" engine, as they're not fixing the issue in current one 😕 Maybe we (as in - many frustrated people :)) need to contact the support directly

Where are these files located? Bridge does not work properly with cloud services. Dropbox is NOT supported and may not work correctly. Many users try this, some have success, lots do not. Much has been written about this subject if you search this forum.

Please try following and let us know if it resolves your issue.
1. Open multiple Loupe Views in the Review/Preview mode using the left mouse to click on the pictures.
2. Press the keyboard key Cmd (Mac) or Cltr (Win) and drag the loupe view using the mouse.
3. All the loupe views are moved simultaneously in all the images.

You can try the Preview workflows in Bridge for your use case.
Please follow following steps:
1. Click on the view menu
2. Use any of the following views for this
a. Full Screen Preview - for single file preview with manual navigation using keyboard
b. Slideshow
c. Review Mode
Also, you can enable the auto-playing of video files when they are selected in the content panel.
Please follow the following steps (PFA screenshot):
1. Go to the preference dialog
2. Go to the playback tab
3. Enable - Play Video Files Automatically When Previewed
