Same is happening for me. I'm on PS 23.3.2. Everything works fine until I use the Object Selection Tool for any reason, the entire PS process hangs (Task Manager shows 'Not Responding') and I have to end the task and start PS again.

BravoXYZ, I completely feel your frustrations. I have a corporate account and obviously, I'm behind a firewall and VPN, and just like you I'm on the latest updates of everything Windows 10. I've tried all suggestions by Adobe, including renaming/removing the OOBE folders, a clean re-install, and even a new OS upgrade, but everytime I reinstall Adobe CC I get a blank window on the next reboot or restart of the app. I went with your solution to simply bookmark my browser to https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop and use that link from now on. The system tray icon for Adobe CC is completely useless to me now.
