Ok Rick. I have. That's the reason for my post 😉 Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Ae, for some reason, uses Caps Lock as a way to stop refreshing the Comp window - to speed up tasks that don't require  the Comp Viewer to update continously. The light of the Caps Lock stays on, but as stated: "Ae forgets that it is pressed when switching Comps". And also while making layer selections it starts refreshing unexpectedly.   I was working on a big project wih multiple compositions, all loaded with expressions. When copying and pasting expressions to mulitple layers, I have to select multiple layers, which slows down when the number of layers increases. So the Caps Lock to stop Ae from refreshing / background rendering comes in handy. But unfortunately, Ae starts to refresh and render randomly, while Caps Lock is still on.   I am on MacOS 12.7.3  / Ae 25.0.1 (Build2) ... View more

To keep it simple: 1. I want to define an Output Folder per Project (and preferrably Output modules as well, for animations and stills). 2. Thanks, but that is not exactly my request. My request is not about collecting files, but about rendering/outputting files in the same hierarchy as the Ae Project.   E.g.: My project has a folder called 'Output'. In there, I made subfolders: Output/Bumpers Output/Wipes and Output/Titles. What I would love, is to tell After Effects where I want my rendered files to appear, and than let it create the exact same hierachy on my disk, where the renders will be placed. ... View more

Meanwhile, I found a clue. The footage I imported was assumed to be 25fps, but it was actually 23,975 fps for some reason. My sequence though, is 25fps. Maybe that leads to this behaviour (although, I still don't know why the 1 frame issue is happening - ripple delete should delete everything without a trace). ... View more

I found the same behavior. Not able to use copy / paste to move clips from bin A to bin B. In Premiere the clips (references to clips, not the actual files, I know) are duplicated, and when removing 'm from bin A, they dissappear from the timeline, because the copies are treated as new clips. Simple remedy should be to add a Move command to move clips from one bin to another, without having to drag which is unconvenient in large projects. ... View more
