I dont understand why we need to figure it out some workaround for a basic thing like this. did you turn off the Shrinkwrap Canvas option too? and I'm not sure we are on the same page... layers doesn't count in this context, I meant the canvas not the top/bottom corners of the layers ... View more

Dear Sameer,   as an Adobe employee, can you say something about this huge BUG??? This is 2025 and nothing is changed in this problem. I have to work with 20-25 artboards per project (banner mutations) from 600x300 to 1920x1080px and every f@ time if i want to move an artboard everything freezes.   Please let me now if Adobe even knows about this bug??   thx!   Tamas ... Honestly, its a shame... You can set an angle for a gradient, but you cannot Save this as a fill property. What's the meaning of this? Why is there an option for the gradient angle, if you cannot use that properly?? ... View more

It would be great with similar solution like in character-style > character color section where you can click with command on the color name and it will be removed. So not "None", just inherited from paragraph text color.   So for example, if you changed some parameter in a child paragraph-style, and you wanted to reset just this one, only press a command+backspace, and reset this parameter back to inherited value. ... Unfortunatelly no. No any solution yet.   I got an access to prereleased version of Indesign, and it seems something is changed. In this version the text "just" flashing once but not disappearing. You know, I would agree with you, if this would be the first time. But honestly the Adobe CS (or CC or whatever) always suffering from a lot of bugs.   I started anno with QuarkXpress / Pagemaker, Freehand and of course with Photoshop. I loved Freehand but Adobe bought the whole Macromedia, and I needed to switch to Illustrator. Wasn't bad at all, but Freehand was much more streamlined, and I miss a lot of tool from ILST. Not 3D effects (who cares??), but line and curvature tools (b-spline?).   Next was the INDD. I was happy when Indesign 1.0 came out (it was a 99% Pagemaker copy), and from that I never missed Quark. But Indesign was a very unstable app at the begining...   And nowadays it is again. I cannot remember all the annoying bugs, but I know it was a lot. Always, and if a bugfix came out, another one came too.   And the most important thing: Affinity can handle the architecture changes? Blender and Cinema4D can handle it?? But Adobe cannot? On my M1 iMac i cannot use any raster-effect in ILST (like Grain), because I get an error message as "Not enough memory"... what??? How come? A 3D software is running flawlessly but ILST needs more RAM?   So, please... this is an expensive bundle, and I expect to work without "gamebreaking" bugs. ... View more

I got an "answear" from the adobe support: Please click on Indesign on your desktop at the top , then go to Preferences > Performance > GPU Performance> Uncheck GPU performance . After following these steps kindly check again. And voilá, the text-disappearing is disappers... So, the Adobe's answer is, switch OFF the GPU in Indesign... ridicuolus. ... View more
