Your expectations are not very realistic: The laptop sizes are pretty dang small (12.3 in, 13 in, or 15 in)--- I would never attempt any editing on a screen so small. The editing screen contains quite a bit on information- all on a size smaller than a peice of legal notebook paper. You can get a 24" monitor at Walmart right now for $70. That's about your most realisitic option. It will make things easier on your eyes.

You purchase and download PSE 2025, that's how you "resolve"- it's your only realistic option. Everything else is you try is just you spinning your wheels and not going anywhere. Adiobe can't reset your installation count. You have been told "too many computers"- that's pretty much it. Here is a link to a free 7 day trial. https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/free-trial.html

That appears to be photoshop, don't really matter though. You probably need to change your screen resolution. I've got photoshop as well, the latest version, with my big monitor I dont have any issues. I could increase the resolution of my monitor , but I don't because things were to dang small. 1920 x 1080 is a standard default setting. Changing your screen resolution in Windows is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it: Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings. In the Display settings window, scroll down to the Display resolution section. Click on the drop-down menu and select your desired resolution. The recommended resolution is usually marked. Once you select the resolution, you’ll see a preview. If it looks good, click Keep changes. If not, you can revert to the previous resolution. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

You can look at them all day long, however, I think you are setting yourself up for a truckload of frustration-- the error logs can be daunting, and actually contain about 99.98% of info that the average user doesn't need to be bothered with- To access the import failure log for Adobe products, navigate to your computer's application support folder, usually located within the "Adobe" directory, where you'll find log files detailing import attempts, including errors and failures; you can typically open these log files with a text editor to analyze the specific reasons behind import issues within your Adobe software like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Lightroom. Key points about Adobe import failure logs: Location: Depending on your operating system, the log files are usually found in a path similar to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers (Windows) or /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers (Mac). File format: These log files are usually plain text files with a .log extension. Interpreting the log: Date and Time: Each log entry will be timestamped, allowing you to pinpoint when an import failure occurred. Error codes: Look for specific error codes or messages within the log to identify the cause of the import issue. File details: The log may also include information about the file that failed to import, such as its path and format. How to access and analyze the import failure log: 1. Open the log file: Navigate to the appropriate Adobe installation directory and locate the relevant log file. 2. Use a text editor: Open the log file using a plain text editor like Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac). 3. Search for errors: Scan the log for keywords like "error," "failed," or "unable" to identify problematic import attempts. 4. Investigate error details: Analyze the specific error messages and associated file information to understand the cause of the import failure. Important considerations: Product-specific logs: Different Adobe products might have their own log files specific to import functions.

" I want to use my hardware and brain to better modify my photos." Why would you purchase the image editor and the video editor together? " I definitely do not need a supposed "AI" to do it for me. I am capable of doing it the way I want, not the way you want. " Again, I have to ask: Why would you even purchase the software then? In PSE some of it is in fact AI, but mostly it's just a bunch of fancy actions. "Your software and methods are too clunky and awkward to use and not worth the effort. " Lots of options out there. Photoshop? $14 a month for new users. Lots of free programs... Not worth the effort? How exactecly would you know that if you haven't used the software? Photoshop elements is extremly well documented by Adobe, and users such as myself. Hundreds of videos on youtube, thousands of hours of instruction, and of course this user to user forum. At one point you had to decide "I'm done"- do you have any idea what point that was?

It was distributed on DVD dvd 1 and 2 was for windows, DVD 3 was for mac. Why on Two dvd's for windows? I think it was a feeble attempt at copy protection--- halfway thru the installation you would be required to swap out dvd's to continue the installation, the reinsert dvd #1 to finish up the installation. I would have to check my last dvd (PSE 2018- I keep just for extreme emergencies- but I oculd probably jsut toss it- all that stuff is in m yadobe account anyway) but I seem to recall the DVD containing under 4GB of data.

Yes. 1. Start the editor 2. log out of the editor. Then unistall it. As long as you had pse 2025 import your catalogs from pse 2023 you should have no problem.

Yes I understand now. I just spent 10 minutes trying to find out the size of an image with right mouse clicking sanf check all image options: I would have to say as of now that it cannot be done. David mentions stuff about size- but that applies to the over-all design size. In dealing with logos on my website when I use to sell image sets I made I had mutliple size logos for different things (product pages vs an information page on the website), and different themes of logos. You would have one logo for a business card, and a slightly different one for a social media post.

Adobe error 11 is an installation error that occurs when more than one instance of the Adobe Application Manager is running. To fix this error, you can quit any additional instances of the application and restart your computer. With windows computers this can happen when not all background processes associated with the installation are not closed out. Users will often try another installation- but those background processes are still running. Rebooting will clear all that, then you should be able to install with no issues.

It's version 19, but is called "Photoshop Elements 2021": Prior to PSE 2024 versions and year released was always two off. 20210807 the date is the year, month, and day that version was finalized. Typically two weeks later that version gets released to the public. You wouldn't like my answer about NAS drives so I will others fill you in on that.

Student, and teacher liscenses are dependant upon two things: 1. The agreement your school has. If the institution did not pay, or cancelled their agreement with Adobe- then users associated with that insitution would be suspended. FOR EXAMPLE: emelyPP@dogandpony.edu could be your login. That login (your school credentials) would simply be locked out becouase your school did not continue with their agreement for Adobe products. The District where I teach has a sweet deal with Adobe: login with your school credentials and you get access to all Adob Products. Rougly 60 days after I retire all my access using my school credentials would be suspended. 2. You are no longer a student. My experience with this is from the student side- about 30 days after you are done being a student, you simply lose the right to use the software. This sounds (if you are still a student) that you need to contact your school IT folks and ask them about the schools Adobe usage agreement.

Yes it can transfer over. Open the editor on the old computer. Log out of it, then uninstall it BEFORE you get a new computer. You don't need to get a new computer because of the windows 10 end of support coming in October. You will be able to pay for extended support. It's what I plan on doing.
