Your expectations are not very realistic: The laptop sizes are pretty dang small (12.3 in, 13 in, or 15 in)--- I would never attempt any editing on a screen so small. The editing screen contains quite a bit on information- all on a size smaller than a peice of legal notebook paper. You can get a 24" monitor at Walmart right now for $70. That's about your most realisitic option. It will make things easier on your eyes.

@AxelMatt, I understood the OP's problem, but there have been various suggestions that offline activation will overcome the issue, presumably by resetting the license activations (since Support can no longer perform that function). I have asked Adobe for a definitive answer to this question but have not received a response. That is why I have tried to gather feedback from users who have successfully tried this method. Unfortunately, I have not received sufficient data to make a firm conclusion one way or the other.

This is in Photoshop Elements. I have already set my Windows screen resolution to the recommended, which is 3840 x 2160. This has no impact on the size of text in Photoshop. All the text is tiny tiny tiny (I would guess about 6 pt. or less). *"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."--George Bernard Shaw*

The notification window has (hidden) handles in the corners and sides that allow you to drag out the sides of the window so that you can read the full path. This was introduced a few versions ago. But I see that (at least in the dark mode of Elements 2025) the handles are not visible. In any event, click on a corner or middle-side of the window and you will be able to drag it out.
As for your ORF files, have you installed Adobe Camera Raw from the Help menu? If you have installed it, then what is the model of Olympus camera that is the source of the files? If it is brand new, there are ways to update the version of Camera Raw to the latest.
Also, how are you importing all of the files? I assume that some were performed through a bulk import. But did you import any From Camera or Card Reader, using the Adobe Photo Downloader? If so, show us a screenshot of that dialog when you import the files.

Hey @spencer_1647, Welcome to our community!! Thanks for posting here!
Could you share the name of the font that keeps disappearing? Have you tried switching to a different font to check if it disappears too? Also, check the text opacity settings.
Let us know how it goes!

I also have Windows 11 and had the same problem in PSE24. Right click on the home screen and go to display settings. There you can reset the magnification (called "scale") and font size. I think that font size didn't work on PSE24 but I increased magnification to 125% and that fixed the problem. You may need to experiment with both.

I store all my photo/video files on my local computer and do not use Adobe's cloud storage, which is not a program requirement. Nor do I use social media sharing. Also, you can turn off the Auto Curation and Face Recognition.

Yeah, i know that ASLC stuff and even if while uploading it on YT, the Youtube marks it as disputed and withholds the video till copyright is not sorted. @Tarun Saini wrote: Hi @ravi_2912, Thanks for your response. When you place a stock audio asset for the first time, you'll see a message letting you know that if you upload your content to YouTube, you may need to provide Content ID proof. To find your Content ID: Open your Express file. Export the file (if you haven't already) to generate a license. Right-click the audio track → Click Source info. Copy the "Unique Content ID code" and follow YouTube’s Content ID verification process. If needed, click "What’s this?" in the info modal for more details. Let us know if that helps. Regards, Tarun the step 4 you mention is not seamless, it passes the ball to the asset creator who can take 24-48 hours to clear the dispute, till then the video is not published. The creator in different geography & time zone may be on holiday or busy in something else can take long enough for the video to be in dispute. I am talking this about mainly background sounds. So the holder of the creator IP takes 24-48 hours before clearing it. That makes a 3rd person control my creation using Adobe Tool. So the lesson I get from this is to drop the tool (Adobe template sounds). Adobe hasn't figured this out well, and it markets express as quick video editing tool. This is super lame and super problematic. Either Adobe should completely purchase template sounds in its library and give free hand to its subscribers to use them or else it will continue to be a tool with too many moving parts. Already Adobe express is such a lame product, what at best it can do is remove the backgorund. I even dont know what were Adobe Product managers thinking before making it, a free GIMP is more versatile to use it or even Fotor Pro ( paid version) which I discovered to be 100x of Adobe Express, at 1/10 the price of Adobe Express. Adobe Product Managers should periodically do a value assessment of their products compared to what is there in Market. Example : Adobe Express doesnt even have simple stuff like silhouette effect creation.

Yes. 1. Start the editor 2. log out of the editor. Then unistall it. As long as you had pse 2025 import your catalogs from pse 2023 you should have no problem.

Hey @AZDPDX, Thanks for sharing the information on what you're looking for. As of now, this feature is not available in Adobe Express; and as suggested above you can post a feature request for the same to our product team directly here: https://adobe.ly/3EQSnci
Feel free to reach out for any Adobe Express issues or workflows; we are here to help.
Best!

Hi Steve, I was having the exact same issue. This was never a problem with any of the previous versions of PSE I owned. I've only experienced this hiccup with PSE 2024. Setting the feather to zero and resetting the tool didn't help in my instance. But I did find something that seems to have fixed the annoyance. In the menu, go to Edit > Preferences > Performance, then uncheck Use Graphics Processor for improved performance. Hopefully this will resolve your polygonal lasso tool problem. Best - Elio

Adobe error 11 is an installation error that occurs when more than one instance of the Adobe Application Manager is running. To fix this error, you can quit any additional instances of the application and restart your computer. With windows computers this can happen when not all background processes associated with the installation are not closed out. Users will often try another installation- but those background processes are still running. Rebooting will clear all that, then you should be able to install with no issues.

OK. So you did not backup your catalog using the Organizer. As I understand it, you copied the files from your desktop to your NAS and then copied the image files from your NAS to your laptop. It's still not clear what you meant when you said that you copied the backup.tly to a laptop windows 10 and restored to the laptop. In any event, whatever method you have used for the transfer, if you did not follow the Backup and Restore options found in the link I provided to you, you will lose all of your Albums and any face recognition you have performed.
If your goal is to use the same catalog on both your desktop and laptop, you need to use an external drive.

I don't know if you are still struggling with this issue on my windows laptop, but I've been dealing with the same issue for a couple of years, and toda I finally figured it out, at least for my machine. I had Parsec installed which had a virtual display driver. As soon as I uninsntalled it, photoshop got butter smooth again. It seems photoshop isn't great at dealing with multiple GPUs, even if they are virtual drivers, it just goes wacky. So check if you have any remoted desktop app or similiar, that might have some virtual display drivers.

Student, and teacher liscenses are dependant upon two things: 1. The agreement your school has. If the institution did not pay, or cancelled their agreement with Adobe- then users associated with that insitution would be suspended. FOR EXAMPLE: emelyPP@dogandpony.edu could be your login. That login (your school credentials) would simply be locked out becouase your school did not continue with their agreement for Adobe products. The District where I teach has a sweet deal with Adobe: login with your school credentials and you get access to all Adob Products. Rougly 60 days after I retire all my access using my school credentials would be suspended. 2. You are no longer a student. My experience with this is from the student side- about 30 days after you are done being a student, you simply lose the right to use the software. This sounds (if you are still a student) that you need to contact your school IT folks and ask them about the schools Adobe usage agreement.

I found that you could not change the font size within the software. My solution was to play with my computer's display options until I found the most acceptable option for both when I am using Adobe and when I am using my PC for other things. Previous versions had an acceptable font size and single spacing. Not sure why they chose to change it and not give the option of previous or new.
