I hear you quite CLEARLY and this has always been a fight I've been willing to fight about with Adobe... Remember AfterEffects and that trojan horse software from Maxon? In 2025, I have two machines: 1. For Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Software I need ondemand but uninstall to keep my machine clean. 2. Then I have a machine with the full software installed that's offline to prevent updating by Adobe. This machine sits unused for 3-6 months at a time so I don't spend my life posting bug tickets all my days.

@Bobby Henderson First, thanks for your comments. It's nice to hear from experienced members. I get this feeling that somehow or somewhere I need to get real font/typeface training but I don't know where to do it. As a novice, I search the web first and list the fonts in a file, like I posted, and talk to the client and they narrow it down. If the client is intelligent and has time, they may just tell me the font they prefer but as a consultant my job really is to give options so they present their content its best foot (indirect agreement with your comments about trends changing). That's what they are paying me for, right? 5. When Adobe lists a font pack, are the fonts in that pack individually searchable or do I have to download the fonts to see what's in it? 6. Is there a way for me to push the font to the clients who visit from the web so they see the site or content as intended?

Creative cloud is an amazing suite of products and everyday I learn more and more. Can I ask some questions about fonts? 1. I know fonts have a clear value for print media but on the internet don't the browsers limit the value of fonts? Example, if I use a custom font on the web, if the other browser user don't have the font, don't they get a standard font replacement? 2. When a customer asks for font work for the web logos and website, how do you navigate this with them? I had a client ask me to do logos and a website with Irish fonts but when I searched Adobe fonts, I couldn't do by nationality. Also, this goes back to the question above, if the user doesn't have adobe fonts, will they see the irish fonts on their browser? Is this a secret that nobody talks about basically? 3. This is a sample of my work. Usually, I list the company name in a word document and then go through the fonts lists and apply them for the client. Is there a way to do this in Illustrator or InDesign? Example, Company A - Font 1, Company A - Font 2, Company A - Font 3... My irish list now has 130 fonts types so I can make it easy for the client to select so I can start the work.

Let me ask you this question back @kglad If you see an application in your app windows and you can't get details about it wouldn't you try to remove or ask questions about it. Personally, I think software created in the remote office/covid/post covid period is simply low quality. Recently, I rolled back 4 updates in Windows 11 because the updates stop me from using features.

@Tariq Ahmad Dar Can I ask you another question and make a suggestion? I like the option for the AI features but I need it to align with my subscription. If I cancel my sub, I don't want to keep getting bills for AI features. When we sub the creative cloud, can Adobe give the AI-Addon feature option clearly then? I know you'll be adding more AI but I think this is best way for everyone. Also, for existing users that sub AI now, can you align with their sub when they resub annually? I want the AI features but I'll wait till my sub renews to do the AI unless you give a commitment that what I buy/sub now will align with my subscription in the future.

@creative explorer Let me reply to your comments. I re-roll my windows desktop quarterly for security reasons. Adobe has pushed XD into the "more apps" section so it's way at the bottom now. See screenshots below: About Figma, your comments are common but have you actually tried to import from Figma to XD? It's a layer individual import and that's so time consuming. Personally, I would prefer to just do in XD from the beginning because all the tools are Adobe Proper. Honestly, I still can't understand why Adobe can't put their AI into XD and get back in the game. I just watched the MAX Keynotes from 2024 over the holidays and this GenAI stuff Adobe has is unmatched. Thanks for the reply and have a great day 🙂

How does this work now? Is this even available? In the Past, I bought an XD paid account and I had clients create and install the free XD account so I could have them review my designs. I think if the files were of a certain size, they could hold their own files too. How does this work now? The reason why I'm asking this. I know XD is in maintenance mode but with these amazing GenAI features, I still feel XD has value and want to create stuff using it. Also, the designs I create I get paid for so the customers need a place to hold their designs for the future. How are pros doing this now with XD or Creative Cloud? Does everyone now have to buy full blown CC to collaborate? Also, I need designs to collaborate with customers, I don't necessarily want to do the coding. Does this make sense?

This is a redline for me. I've removed your products from my machine and only install them when I need them. You've pushed me to this, Adobe. First, I need to be in control of the updates on my computer because your firm does sneaky stuff....like forcing maxon to download. I don't want this product installed on my computers for reaons that I've mentioned in this forum MANY, MANY times! Second, I reload my machines quarterly to keep them performant and you've just made my life easier with auto updates. Your products will now be only installed on demand and removed daily. Rescind your decision and allow users to control updating so you don't corrupt our files and our livelihoods!

I created a file this morning and the file was only 166k when I pdfed it. Then I made modifications and added emojis and the file jumped to 3mb, why? Is there something wrong with adobe chrome browser adobe addin or something else. Your products are simply unreliable....I could spend all day opening tickets your bugs. In the past, I have digitally signed my documents to send to someone else. Recently, I had an NDA sent to me and tried to sign it but I was not allowed to. 1. How should signing a document work? The only way I got this work was by saving a local copy of the signed senders document and then signing it and sending it back. 2. Is there a way to do this in real-time like docusign?They allow you just click, sign a document, and send it back. Do I need other adobe software installed.
