Hi Anshul, Thank you so much for getting back to me. Since my job doesn't allow us to share things via public apps, they created a link where you can download the items. https://transfer.thieme.de/messageportal/#/pickup/1e56d5f8-68e3-4923-9b3a-2c5ca21fbf6b/anonymous/9d7... There are 2 folders. One with the ai file and svg created at the time was the newer version of Illustrator (July 2024) that created issues when saving as an svg. The 2nd folder is with the ai and svg files saved in an older version of Illustrator (27.9.4). I attached a screenshot of the SVG export settings.

Hi everyone! If anyone has any insight or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. My current "fix" was dowloading and using an older version of Adobe Illustrator, but a small error still arose with that. There was a change of the SVG code with no option to choose the former SVG code (which we need for our eProduct). Also other issues appeared when saving AI to SVG. See below: Clipping paths are handled differently (see screenshot "Example-Code) File format of the linked background images changed from JPG to PNG File size from the linked background images increased significantly (won’t load when opening the SVG) • 4. Background image shifted, so things aren't properly lined up anymore (see screenshot "Example-ImageShift")

Hi Rene! Thank you so much for responding. I wanted to know if more than one person is working on the same project using Adobe Illustrator to save SVGs, is there a chance that the same file name can be generated for the different jpegs and pngs? Multiple people work on hundreds of images and I fear there can be duplication in all the generated file names. I would be interested in your script, but it's for my job, so I don't think they would allow me to accept anything from outside the company. Thanks so much for yout time and help!

When you save a SVG file in Adobe Illustrator the JPGs/PNGs that are referenced in the SVG seem to get random names. Do you know, if there is a logic, how Adobe Illustrator chooses those names? Is it really random or is there a formula, by which Adobe Illustrator creates a new name out of the SVG file name? If it’s really random, is it possible for images to get the same name?
