Hi - thanks for your reply - I have done as you asked - updated to the latest beta version of photoshop this morning and opened the generative workspace - still the spinning wheel.  I tried to click on the gear icon but this does not open.  None of the icons across the top of the workspace open.  Since my first enquiry regarding this I have been through all of the firewall settings etc. on my computer with the adobe help team in India twice and they could not find any problem that could be causing this.  Can you think of anything else that I could try ?  Cheers Judy  ...
