Help please! Know how to rotate a 3d object with camera, but unsure how to rotate camera around object? Trying to use camera to do a 360 orbit around stationary 3d car, but failing! Im obviously missing something as should be straightforward?

Managed to resize font for menus, but cannot work out how to resize fonts for left hand side, Name Type File Size etc, and also trying to increase size of icons in timelne, Audio, Solo, Lock Shy, Motion Blue etc. They are just too small to view properly. Any advice please.

Have to say that to now have the ability to import 3D models into AE, is amazing! Something ive been longing for ever since started using AE over 15yrs ago. Know its still in its early stages, but a grateful Thankyou must go to the developers.

Really excited to learn that the developers are working on 3D models that can be imported into AE without the need for the 3D element and Blender etc. But looks like only available in the Beta version at mo. when installing Beta, does that replace the uptodate working version of AE or is it just more of an extension?

Can't help sorry, but im getting the same message occasionally too. Even tho have loads of ram especially dedicated to AE. Find myself having to purge more often. Be interested too if get an answer or reason of why this warning also.

Thankyou, quite proud of myself that ive now managed to work it out but its a time consuming process! Duplicated the layer removed all Time Remap keyframes and then split it, removed and cut the first part and then masked out the branch. Finally readding the TM keyframes. so

Hi, Is there a possible way please of using Time Remapping to slow down or freeze only part of a single video layer in AE? The part i want to slow down are leaves falling from a tree branch but still want the branch to contine at same speed. Tried duplicating the layer, but the tree and leaves now look kind of embossed or bevelled. Thankyou.

So frustrating! On the verge of cancelling my AE subscription as now seems can no longer access my project file ive been working on for the last 4 months. Even tried to re-install a prev version of AE but still getting same error unfortunately. Auto save files are not working either. I just want to cry, please somebody help.

Hi, Tried using Mr Mercury to create raindrops on camera lens/screen, but not very realistic results so far. The water still look like round blobs so ideally want some distortion too. Im not that experienced with displacement maps/fractal noise, but i assume that may a possible option for what im trying to achieve?

To add further, you could try slowing down the clip also before tracking. and then back to normal speed after finished.

I did similar a similar project recently, except mine was a cube. Try using a black solid layer bg first, for contrast. and then remove solid after track hopefully successfully done.

I believe Mocha only works and be in the effects tab if have a trial or paid updated version. You do get the option to cancel the trial version after 7days free, before any monies are taken.

Thankyou all, ive managed to solve it by using CC Slant instead and with a wiggle expression too. Made it look quite realistic which i was ideally aiming for. That effect is great for animating grass too.

Hi, Im trying to animate some leaves on a tree swaying slighty by wind, from a still 2d image using CC Bend. Ive tried Bender and Puppet tool also, but not really achieving the ideal realistic effect that i want. Ive yet to try masking or cutout the leaves as a single image that then can re-add back after. Does anybody have any advixe on the best way to do this, please.

There does not seem to be a day free of some sort of bug or error with AE. Its got to the point now where im really starting to consider whether to continue my monthly subscription. I use Blender alongside with AE too, and that works so fluidly and perfectly, and its free! The latest bug is the AE window now half the size when it first opens compared to full when i exit. Yes, a quick and easy fix by maximizing the window but its still so frustrating!

Exported a project to Media Encoder for render but after viewing the video playback when finished, i noticed that my motion tracking was out by a few frames. So tried same render without ME instead. Larger file size, but no issues at all with final output. Just dont understand why had that glitch after rendering in ME?
