I don't really know what this option is for then.   Edit: After some googling, I found this answer in a thread from 3 years ago: "You can have two major versions installed (e.g. v20.x and v21.x) but not two minor versions (e.g 21.1 and 21.2)." @A303265070ve2  There is an option in the Creative Cloud App settings (File -> Preferences -> Apps -> Photoshop (Beta) -> Advanced options) to uncheck "remove older versions". However, I have it unchecked and when I install a new version it still overrides the old one. ... View more

It's an incredible tool held back for many by a bug that likely could be resolved (since it worked perfectly fine on beta version 24.5). I've got the same issue as both of you. There is no brush icon for me either when I have the Remove Tool activated, only a mouse arrow. Clicking anywhere on the canvas with it leads to a program error. I see more and more people having this problem so I hope it gets resolved soon! ... View more

Not this exact error but I'm also not able to use the Remove Tool. The one I get is a program error: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/remove-tool-gives-me-a-program-error/idi-p/13821673 It happens on both the newest beta and the latest stable version and I can't find anything about it anywhere online.
