This is not just a matter of 23.42. This bug has already been reported since the beginning of the 2022 version. Will it be fixed next year? How long do we have to wait?   also, This causes a crash not only when you open the image, but also when you open the object selection tool, select subject.   They didn't get an answer for months for me to leave a link. What does that mean? They don't use Photoshop anymore, they're familiar with the crash situation like the comments above, and it's their workflow to restart Photoshop and continue working when it doesn't crash. This is a bug that needs to be fixed.
