Cruious if you have figured something out. Im in the same boat. I don't need it, and it slows me down. I change names a lot in finder so it'll say its missing. Ive had this issue ongoing for over a year and it seems other people have to. No matter what, in my saved workspace, it will NOT go back to the original. and it's absolutley driving me crazy. I am on a Macbook pro using a 27 inch monitor. Every single time it will undock my projects panel. I have deleted and reset over and over again on my layouts. If this is a bug and not a user error, it has became so fustrating as it delays my process. However, if it is user error, please guide me on fixing the error.
