It could be that you are slowly running out of HD space as you update the software which between that and larger temporary files/storage takes up more room. As software updates, many times file size increases which increases the requirments for resources. My best advice is to get an external SSD with a USB-C connection and use that either as your working storage to move things off your HD or better yet, use it for your scratch disk. ... View more
