Thanks Rick,  So I have 2 compositions with the same layer name, but both have different designs or placements (I made a design in Photoshop, and Convert editable text in AE). composition one with the name assets, where I've edited the movement, effects, and position of the timeline, I want the assets 2 composition to have the same movement, effect and timeline position as the assets composition. In the following I will show the difference between the composition of assets and assets 2 : Assets Assets 2 for information, now I have solved the problem, by changing the text manually from the assets composition, and making the position according to design assets 2. Thank @Kyle Hamrick , yes I used @Rick Gerard  solution, imported the new psd, then just added the new layers, unfortunately when the Dependencies template was created, the Footage folder had the psd files, and both were linked, so when I changed the contents of the template in the psd, I had to edit both, one old psd file , and 1 psd file added a new layer.   It is in the project AE, the red mark is new layer from new psd file Is there a way when the dependencies folder is created, only 1 psd file is produced ?  TIA ... Thank you for the complete answer, I did the same method when I first imported it into AE, and I edited the animation, after all that was done, it turns out that the client asked for additional layers in the psd file, so the new layers don't appear in the AE project,   There might not be an automatic way to resolve your problem, but one way would be to bring in just the one new layer to add it (select Footage, then select only the new layer), and position it in the existing After Effects composition in the same way as in the updated Photoshop file.   For this method, I have done it, but the problem is, because it will be used as a template later, the new layer added via AE does not appear in the PS file otherwise.   Another way might be to import the new Photoshop file, copy and paste the animation keyframes from the old layers to the corresponding new ones, delete the old composition, and then animate the new layer.     I thought about this way, but since I'm new to AE, I don't know how to copy my edits to a new file, do you know the steps?   Yes, I also posted on the AE sub, but didn't get any answers, therefore I posted on PS, because the PS sub is more active in its members. I experienced the same thing after the last update, initially this problem appeared only in the beta version, I resolved it in the following way (this is for the beta version): 1. Backup photoshop settings, by copying folder C:\Users\(YOUR PC NAME)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) select the "Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings" folder and the "Presets" folder, save it in a safe place. 2. In photoshop, open settings (ctrl+k) and click "Reset Preferences On Quit" 3. Close the Photoshop application 4. Reopen the Photoshop application, once open, don't do any activity, close your Photoshop again. 5. Go to C:\Users\(YOUR PC NAME)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) directory Delete the "Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings" Folder and the "Presets" folder 6. Copy the folder from the backup earlier, and paste it in the folder C:\Users\(YOUR PC NAME)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) 7. Open the Photoshop application, and the problem has been resolved. Until now the problem doesn't appear anymore. Good luck! ... View more
