What happened with generative function?! I'm rare use it, but a year ago I experimented in many photos and it worked very well, but now incorrectly detects the light and focus. Maybe I'm not making prompts in the right way? But as I say before it was enough for me to write "flowers" and it understand how to draw. Here I'm trying to add a vase with flowers on the table, it constantly gives me a sharp result. First prompt was: vase with flowers. Second: vase with flowers on background, depth of field. Third: vase with flowers on background, not in focus, depth of field. And all the time same poor result... For example, one of my experiment year ago with one of my photos. Here was generated: on table "book", "glass of wine" and "wine bottle", on background "dark transparent vase with dark flowers staying in shadow". All of this looking good! Maybe except glass, because no shadow from light but i made too small frame for it.

Hi Korneel, have you tried using content aware fill instead? I'm no technical expert but I believe this uses the existing image/pixel data to remove items. In my own experience, it's quite good on similar patterns and it may work in this case. I believe Generative fill is quite highly safeguarded and given the nature of your photography, it's judging your image to be explicit. Perhaps you could create a mask of the area you are trying to generative fill and separating this section from the overall image, so the AI only evaluates this area? Let me know how it goes 🙂

The Poppins type family (18 fonts) can be downloaded from the Google Fonts web site. It might be worth it to try testing out that version to see if all 18 fonts appear in the Illustrator font menu on your computer system. Be sure to deactivate the Adobe Fonts version first to avoid any conflicts.
I've seen some odd technical problems with fonts in Illustrator. More often than not those fonts are usually ones from Google, but I've seen issues with commercial fonts I've purchased as well. I believe those issues on my own computer system are caused by some other factors, such as a rival graphics application to Illustrator (CorelDRAW) as well as possible bugs in the font files themselves. If I launch Illustrator without that other application running any font styles missing in the font menu are usually restored.
Sometimes I've been able to get around some glitches in fonts downloaded direct from Google Fonts by using the version hosted at Adobe Fonts instead. There are other cases where the font files from Google's site are the better alternative. I've also gone back to Google Fonts later and downloaded a new copy of a badly behaving font package and seen the fresh download behave properly.
