I want to report an issue/bug to the photoshop developers directly that users encounter on All platforms, maybe it'll be fixed but there's no direct link. "I Know" there is more than 1 method for resizing including Bilinear but Automatic seems to be the universal method even used by big companies. Thus I'm addressing this issue in hope the technical team could find a better and more smoother solution/result. Anyone can test this and will reach the same exact results so it's Not a personal issue neither a wrong method, layers...etc and it should be addressed as such. Use - literally - Any colored Image or drawing and go to "Image" then "Image size" option then reduce the size to 50% for example while choosing "automatic". After resizing check your image closely for a double line parallel to every line in your image. To get a clearer view simply drop down the brightness to -150 and you'll see an outter double parallel line glowing in the dark image! I've attached an example, the files are: Normal - 100% View Normal Brightness down - 100% View (There's No issue at all). Then: 50% Size Reduction - 100% View (The issue is somewhat clear). 50% Size Reduction - Brightness down - 100% View (The issue is very clear). 50% Size Reduction - 300% View (The issue is very clear). 50% Size Reduction - Brightness down - 300% View. (The issue is very clear).
