Here's a possible workaround that might be worth trying: I got the same error sometimes on my 2020 MacBook Air which uses a very similar graphics card (Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB). Only difference is, I don't use LR(C) for RAW import but the Adobe Camera Raw plugin in Photoshop. Even though the system requirements are the same (min. 2GB graphics memory), it imports one RAW file at a time and therefore seems to be less demanding on the GPU.   I figured out that turning off all other applications that use the GPU (Browser tabs with embedded videos, VLC, etc.) frees just enough graphics memory for Adobe's AI denoise tool to finish without errors.   I also quit and restart Photoshop/ACR before using the AI denoise function on another photo.  ...
