Hello buddy, I have tested this 3D capture function many times and I am not sure if the hollowed out object can be achieved. You can also try it. I often encounter some photos that cannot be aligned, and you need to repeatedly modify and retake them, which often depends on whether the photos you take meet the requirements

To be honest, the problem I encountered is the same as yours. Last month, I purchased a shooting tripod and used a mirrorless camera to shoot. I even used a turntable, which can prevent the shooting angle from swinging too much. I took about 60 photos with some overlap, but when I imported the file, most of the pictures still couldn't be aligned! I don't understand where the problem comes from, but what I want to say is that it's difficult to solve this problem in just a few words, because with current 3D construction technology, high-precision photos need to be taken to complete this task. However, you often don't know where the problem comes from, and even if asked here, it's difficult to obtain effective help information! This technology still needs improvement!

I'm not quite sure, but if the sampler has the function of random UV textures, you can check the screenshots I provided. Each texture is repeated and the same Thanks a million!!!

@Shwetha23063442qtvs Hello, I think there is an issue with this plugin. The SBSAR material I am using includes sheen color and sheen roughness, but they cannot automatically connect

@Cyril Dellenbach I would like to explain a problem to you. In Vray, to achieve a glossy velvet fabric effect, it is necessary to add a attenuation map and use the fabric gloss parameter option. However, it is obvious that the substance to Vray cannot achieve this

Yes, first of all, I didn't see the default material of sheen velvet in the sampler! I have also tried using fabric weaving filters to make fabric and reduce roughness to make the fabric look more glossy, although it appears so perfect in the sampler, but when I exported it to sbsar format, then imported it into 3D max, and applied it as a vray material, the rendered effect was not the same! I'm not sure if this can be considered a problem, maybe it's a problem that the Substance plugin department should solve

Hello, this is just my personal idea! As a software in the 3D or CG industry that can achieve multiple materials, sampler is still too thin in terms of the achievable effect on fabrics. For example, the renderings I presented below are of plush fabric and velvet fabric, which can be easily achieved in Vray by adjusting simple parameters. However, sampler still cannot achieve this. We hope that in the future, the possibility of implementing such fabric materials can be realized in sampler. Thank you

Yes, no problem. With the grid size and proportion unchanged, I applied an unwanted amount of paper inside the mask! Remember, it's when the scale and grid size remain unchanged! So the quantity has decreased, what I mean is that this filter lacks the option to adjust the quantity (density)! The first image has the default effect without a mask. In the second image, I added a mask to make the quantity look less! Perhaps you would say that adding masks can reduce the quantity, but I think it's more convenient to have a quantity option instead!

Although this filter is rarely used, I have found that it cannot adjust the density of paper. Although the proportion can be adjusted, the basic quantity has not increased or decreased. Therefore, I think this filter needs to add an option to adjust the density of paper

When I used a pattern filter to draw lines on asphalt, I found it difficult to achieve top and bottom symmetry. Of course, if there were symmetry tools, it would be more accurate, perhaps this would be very helpful for drawing patterns! I hope you can hear my voice, thank you

I personally believe that in most cases, 4K can already meet the majority of needs. If high-quality 8K is needed, it is usually necessary to provide images with 8000 * 8000 lossless pixels or more. This may seem a bit difficult, but of course, some people may have a demand for it
