Thanks for you help. I just reset my workspace and that took care of the problem.

This is not how Photoshop should look. Both my home page and toolbar are open at the same time. See image attached.

I tried to attach two (2) additional screenshots from my BETA (latest version). These are how Photoshop should be and was until yesterday.

@thatsmauri & @gener7 - Thanks guys, but that isn't it. It's as if my page/screen size has increased because those other items to the left don't move and as a result I cannot place the toolbar so that I can see and read all of those other items. In Beta (and as it as until a day ago in PS), those items on the left where there when I open the program, the toolbar didn't appear until I open an image. Then those items disappear and the toolbar shows up. As you can see in the image I provided, that is not the case. Those items on the left and the toolbar are open at the same time.

This actually solved all of the sizing problems ... brush, brackets, remove tool, clone tool, etc. So thank you very much.

Specifically, the following tools cannot be resized and there is no reset tool: Brush Eraser Remove Clone Stamp

Neither resizing of tools, no resetting of tools works. I cannot change the size of any tool (up or down, larger or smaller) and in this version there doesn't appear to be a way to reset the tools ... individually or collectively. What am I missing? In the previous versions these items worked just fine.

Presuming you meant *Photoshop Beta* and not Photoshop, I tried what you suggested and after typing *Adjustment Brush* twice it now appears in my toolbar as a separate entry (like your screenshot indicated). And, more importantly, it works!!! So, thank you for being one stubborn dude Jeff Arola. Adobe should hire you to run their Customer Care department, because supposedly even the management available when I called them this morning was not aware of this trick. All the best to you Jeff.

That's strange Jeff, because I was just told 5 minutes ago by Adobe Customer Service, that the Adjustment Brush is no longer available in Beta v25.11.0.2665 as it has been moved to the regular Photoshop. Perhaps your v25.11 needs an update?

As I have already pointed out to you Jeff, you're using a Mac and I'm running under Windows. I appreciate you trying to help, but this is a waste of time.

Yes, I have v25.11.0.2665 Beta, and I have already tried restoring defaults in the toolbar. The adjustment brush simply isn't there.

Hmm, you are using a Mac and as stated in my post, I'm using Windows. There is no Adjustment Brush in my Toolbar and yours looks as if it has been customized. Regardless, at least you have it and I don't.

I'm using the very latest updated version of Photoshop Beta under Windows 11 Pro. I decided to see what the new Adjustment Brush is all about, but it is nowhere to be found. I have reset the Brush tool several times, but there is no listing for an Adjustment Brush. What am I missing? Is this tool no longer in Beta? That's not what Nace, Unmesh, Smith, Ramirez have said. I did just notice it has been added to my regular Photoshop (and that's fine), but why isn't it in Beta?

Thank you Ged, the manual resetting was simple enough and seems to have solved my problem totally. Thanks a million, very much appreciated.

Somehow I assume I have done something to screw up Photoshop 2024 25.4.0.319. Is there a reset buttom to return the program to its original state and what would that entail? Would I have to re-install all my plugins? Anyway, about 10 days ago or so, I noticed that my panel on the far right was not what it has always been. Even though Layers was turned on under the Windows menu, it was stuck at the bottom of the panel and I had to double-click on it to get it properly set and open in the panel. Additionally, each Layer when click on in the main screen, lights up with brackets and they become almost impossible to close. Why? Because when you click on another area of the screen another Layer lights up, etc., etc. This has also never happened before. I hope this makes sense? Can anyone help me? TIA.

Most of us are smart enough to figure that out on our own Chuck. Simple things that work in the regular version should also work in the Beta. When they don't, but have been, they should be immediately fixed when reported. There is no excuse for this! Adobe has continued to release several versions of the Beta since this problem was first reported. Does anyone who actually works for Adobe, in a position to light some fires, ever read these reports?

Yes, of course, that is the perfect response Chuck! However, few of us have time to jump back and forth between the two programs. Some things like moving an image from one open document to another open document shouldn't be that difficult to fix. It works perfectly in the regular version (always has). It has also worked perfectly in past versions of the Beta until shortly before Christmas. Adobe wants us to be Beta testers, meaning they want us to use the Beta and provide feedback on the new things they offer. But if Adobe wants us to continue doing that then they can't screw up the things people use everyday and not fix them in a timely fashion.

I recognize that you are just a volunteer Jane (and that you do good work helping others and it's appreciated), but you are quick to defend Adobe and you have missed my point. If Adobe does not correct problems reported numerous times by numerous users in a timely fashion, there is no reason for those users to continue using the Beta when the problem is part of our daily workflow. If we stop using the Beta, there will be less feedback thereby curtailing user interface.

Jane - This problem in the Beta has been acknowledged for quite some time now, and yet remains unfixed. You have (in not so many words) indicated in other posts that the Beta is produced so that Photoshop can be improved based on user feedback. Surely no one who has this problem, is going to continue using the Beta until it is fixed. So how does this help Adobe?

Yes, and the problem of attempting to move an image from one open file to another is also still there in Beta v25.5.0.2024.

Thank you for the tip Jane. It had absolutely nothing to do with my dual GPU setup (as I knew it wouldn't, since I have been using that setup on this computer for well over 2+ years). Common sense should have told anyone claiming to be an "expert" that actually took the time to READ what I wrote (that the problem started 3-4 days before Xmas). So, what it turned out to be was somehow under Select & Mask > Properties > Preset was changed from Default to Custom and that rendered editing of an image not visible. So again Jane, thank you.

Well, by choosing not to use the Beta, you won't be doing your part to correct the problem. 🙂

Oh I understand just fine, but it makes no sense whatsoever when a beta is working in harmony with the way the regular Photoshop versions work, and then it is changed without rhyme or reason.

Yes, there are a few workarounds, but that's not what we expect from Adobe (beta or not). Especially when v25.4.0.2439 worked fine until 3-4 days before Christmas.

"We can only help you if you are prepared to listen." I am always prepared to listen, but if my experience and common sense tell me that what is being offered as "help" doesn't seem like it then I generally pass. Turning off my secondary GPU has no effect on these issues whatsoever.
