I second this. There is also another problem, which is typical of Adobe. Even when you can quickly reset the slider value, the workflow for it is inconsistent In the main window, you need to double-click the slider label. In 'Camera Raw,' you need to double-click the slider handle. In 'Liquify,' neither method works; you need to manually move the handle to reset the slider value to 0. This issue also needs to be fixed. I wish Adobe would establish a consistent UI/UX design system, similarly to Apple, Affinity, Microsoft, etc., so that their software stops being confusing to use.

I wish cameras would record gyroscope and accelerometer data in photo metadata so that we could quickly level photos with a single click during editing.

@BrettN Not anymore. I used a free 7-day trial subscription because I was considering switching to Photoshop instead of Affinity Photo, as I was interested in Photoshop's Generative features. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with it. The quality of its output is very low—it's barely usable. I shared some of my feedback here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-the-generative-fill-in-photoshop-26-0-0-is-definitely-worse-than-in-previous-versions/idi-p/14931200#comments Additionally, I was highly disappointed by how inconsistent the Photoshop interface is. I shared more feedback here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/scrubby-zoom-overscroll-and-zoom-to-cursor-don-t-work-in-the-liquify-filter/idc-p/15072663#M117104 Since the Generative features output low quality results and the interface is inconsistent and unpleasant to use, I decided to cancel my subscription and return to using Affinity Photo. I hope you'll learn from your mistakes and fix the aforementioned issues.

The brush tool pressure preview doesn't seem to be working properly as well. It doesn't dynamically change in the Liquify filter when using the Control + Option + Click-and-Drag Left/Right shortcut. Only the size preview is functioning properly. Demonstration: The area with the brush property values also doesn't appear in the Liquify filter. It needs to be added to the filter. @CMass , @MeredithStotzner , don’t you want to address the aforementioned issues to fix the Liquify filter interface?

Although 'Scrubby Zoom,' 'Overscroll,' and 'Zoom to Cursor' are enabled in the preferences, they stop working when launching the Liquify filter. For some reason, these features are not functional within the Liquify filter, making the workflow more tedious and cumbersome. Adobe, please, fix this issue.

I confirm the issue. The generative model in the latest PS 26.2 still performs worse than in version 25.x. For example, when entering the prompt 'bald head,' the latest model might generate a hat instead, which the previous version does not. PS v.26.2: PS v.26.2 PS v.25.12.1 PS v.25.12.1 @CMass , @MeredithStotzner , By the way, did you know, guys, that placeholder text isn’t meant to be interacted with? Users shouldn’t be able to select or copy it. It’s not a big deal, but it does reflect the low quality of your software development.

I second this. Additionally, these shortcuts (⌥⇧</> and ⌥⇧[/]) are very uncomfortable to use. There should definitely be a way to remap them on demand!

🤦:male_sign: Dude, that's the issue. Instead of the standard Ctrl (+ Shift) + TAB, some other weird shortcuts work. As a result, the shortcuts are inconsistent. Look at this: App Shortcut to Switch Tabs Adobe Photoshop Ctrl + Tab Adobe Illustrator Cmd + ~ Chrome Ctrl + Tab Safari Ctrl + Tab Finder Ctrl + Tab The purpose of this post is to request a UX improvement: changing the weird, nonstandard shortcuts to standard ones. These shortcuts aren't even consistent across Adobe's apps, let alone other applications. Why would anyone want to use several different shortcuts for the same feature? What's good about that?

I second this. The zooming tools are inconsistent within the Photoshop interface. They work differently and inconsistently across various modules. Here's how they behave on my Mac: Scrubby Zoom Mouse Click Zoom * Overscroll Main Window OK OK OK Filter Gallery X (marquee zoom works instead) OK X Adaptive Wide Angle X (marquee zoom works instead) OK X Camera Raw X X OK Lens Correction X (marquee zoom works instead) OK X Liquify X OK X Vanishing Point X (marquee zoom works instead) OK X I wish the developers would stop neglecting the interface and fix this issue. * Mouse Click Zoom → Space + ⌘/⌥ + Left Click

You wanted native full screen and you got it but now you want something different. Oy vey. One of the biggest attractions of the Mac is that every app doesn't go off and work its own way (unlike Windows and Linux.) You learn how to use it ONCE and it should work the same everywhere. By @Lumigraphics @Lumigraphics We wanted a well-implemented full-screen mode, not a poorly executed one with all of these aforementioned flaws. Don't act as if they are the same thing.

That is standard macOS full screen behavior. Put any standard Apple app in full screen mode (Safari, a Finder window, Disk Utility, etc.), press the Esc key, and it will exit full screen mode. It may be annoying…but escaping full screen mode with the Esc key is Mac standard, and therefore unlikely to be changed. By @Conrad_C @Conrad_C, Although it is considered standard behavior, it is very annoying. That is why so many people, including myself, have been complaining about it for a very long time: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255019670?sortBy=best https://www.reddit.com/r/ArcBrowser/comments/16jm185/escape_key_causing_undesired_fullscreen_exit_on/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Safari/comments/w2xjjl/do_not_exit_fullscreen_on_esc/ https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/tbky9l/disable_esc_to_exit_full_screen_shortcut_for_ms/ https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/110569/disable-esc-shortcut-to-quit-fullscreen https://github.com/pqrs-org/Karabiner-Elements/issues/2110 https://superuser.com/questions/315949/dont-exit-full-screen-when-pressing-escape-in-apps-like-safari-on-lion https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47851333/how-to-disable-esc-to-exit-fullscreen-macos-high-sierra Fortunately some developers took these complaints into account and fixed this issue in their apps (such as Chrome, Affinity Photo, etc.). IMHO, Adobe developers should do it as well.

This is listed as why Adobe didn't implement native full screen. Because it wouldn't work the way users might want and expect. I don't think there is any "fix" here, just two different ways of using the program. By @Lumigraphics @Lumigraphics Just look how the full-screen mode has been implemented in Pixelmator Pro and Affinity Photo: Pixelmator Pro Affinity Photo They have almost none of the aforementioned issues. Adobe should follow their example

The full-screen mode feature implemented in v25.4 is welcomed, but there are a few issues with the way it has been implemented: 1) the tabs aren't displayed 2) when pressing (accidentally) the Esc key, Photoshop exits the full-screen mode, which is very annoying 3) the far right part of the image canvas is hidden behind the panels: Please address these issues.
