Thank you, so I turned off "sample all layers" and went back to Auto (may use generative AI), and then I was able to remove the snowman without the edges messing up at all. Great! Thank you. My only other question now is that before, it created a new layer that had the parts I had masked to remove, covered. Doing it this new way removed the item but did not create the covered layer, meaning now I could not go back later and re-add the item I removed. This image is not a layered doc, it's just a flat image. Is there a way to remove the snowman while creating that layer of covered area so that I could edit it again later in the project if I wanted to add the snowman back? ... View more

I looked back and yes, I'm using the Remove Tool. But the issue is still the same, I wanted to remove the snowman, and when I clicked the checkmark, it did remove the snowman but then messed up the edges of the image. I uploaded the images in order but they apparently didn't show up in the right order, which should be original image with snowman, then image with the snowman in pink, then no snowman with warped edges.   I just want to be able to remove the snowman or other elements without the edges, or anything else, being affected.
